Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) are looking for an experienced leader to develop the East Asia & Australasia region of our transactional Field Service (FS) business. We are now looking for a Field Service Manager, East Asia & Australasia who can inspire and develop a continuous improvement mindset in a multiple country team. A leader who is both safety-focused and passionate about delivering the highest quality of services to our customers. The position is a permanent opportunity. The location for the position is at Pandan Crescent, Singapore.
Your main responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the operations of the transactional field service business for SLS.
• Ensure efficient operations and implement strategic action plans to meet strategic priorities.
• Ensure the end-to-end SLS field service process is followed in Team 4
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop high performing teams while coaching, developing, and supporting talent.
• Foster and develop a generative safety culture within the organisation.
• Drive skill development, capacity planning and utilisation rates of service engineers
• Implement, maintain, and develop processes according to strategy and QHSE guidelines.
• Monitor and report on operational performance in relation to QEHS, Financial, Resourcing, Planning, Administration, Skills & Training, Tools & Investments.
Main requirements in this role:
• BSC in Marine Engineering
• Field Service Engineer background is desirable
• Solid experiences in leading Multi-cultural Field Service Team
• Safety-first mind-set with the ability to inspire others to climb the safety culture ladder.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and a passion for continuous improvement.
• 5 years or more experience working within a Service Delivery function within the Marine Industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of SLS products and services is a must
• Good communication and team building skills.
• Marine engineering background is beneficial.
• Well-developed cultural awareness and situational sensitivity.
• Willing and able to travel.
