The Centre Management System Support, Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, procurement & maintenance of all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities and essential services for daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance Planning: Planning and implementation of building maintenance programs for architectural, electrical, and mechanical, exhibits and attractions AV lighting systems. Co-ordinate and liaise with internal and external vendors for the execution of maintenance services. Conduct joint inspection rounds with Specialists/Technical Officers on building/Exhibit/AV & lighting defects.

Summary: We seek a highly motivated and skilled technician to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the deployment of automation solutions and ensuring the successful installation of our projects regionally.

Responsibilities

1 Communicate with engineers to ensure that services are delivered effectively.

2 Handle mechanical assembly based on the provided drawings

3 Prepare electrical panels based on the provided drawings

4 Perform simple mechanical and electrical repair of installed machines

5 Support with scheduled preventive maintenance and upkeep of installed machines

6 Support with installation & commissioning of new equipment onsite

7 Support with fabrication & wiring during project execution

8 Travel to customer sites to support with service enquires whenever needed

9 Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner

10 Maintain in-house stock and inventory for robot maintenance

11 Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager

Requirement

1 Diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field

2 Excellent hands-on skills in mechanical assembly, soldering, crimping, etc

3 Knows how to handle electrical tools like crimpers, wire strippers, ferrules, etc.

4 Must be good in handling mechanical tools such as drills, taps,

5 Basic knowledge of Linux commands will be a bonus

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertake the assignments on one's own such as commissioning, installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair/overhaul for MTU engines and associated product
• Capable of resolving technical matters and completing services according to the works order for acceptance by the customers.
• Conduct acceptance test of equipment and systems with customers or customer representatives.
• Carry out repair/adjustment if required.
• Provide service/investigation reports where applicable.
• Prepare and submit travel report on work progress as well as completion of project.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience in the diesel engine/generator industry.
• Experience in troubleshooting, project handling/execution, servicing and commissioning.
• Communicates effectively, has a strong initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Possess logical and analytical skills
• Highly independent, and an excellent team player.

1. Perform hands-on Marine/ Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Structure installation, Service & Maintenance and Repairs of Equipment / Instruments on outdoor field, canal, undergound, confine space, underwater, marine coastal

2. Involves working onboard vessel /work boat, canal, underground, river and field sites

3. Involve in integration of instrument / computer devices, programming, setup, configuration, testing and commissioning of remote access and control application.

4. Involve in instrument calibration, knowledge in chemical reagent

5. Planning maintenance schedule and product service report / analysis report / Maintenance Report

6. Involve in Ad-Hoc assignments as and when required

7. Willingness for Standby duties or work after office hour or during weekend and Public Holiday
