As a Customer Engineer in Google Distributed Cloud, you will work with the sales and pre-sales teams to offer and deliver complex distributed cloud solutions. You are the technical expert with strategic global customers, leading conversation on cloud offers and driving decisions to align with Google Cloud services and delivery team innovation and capabilities.

• Create and execute on new cloud offers, creating business case, getting alignment from respective teams, addressing budget needs, getting executive buy in, securing customers, driving customers to prove offers, and scaling offers to field once proven successful.
• Be a technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services.
• Strategize surrounding solution code development in collaboration with internal or external developers/users/partners/clients/stakeholders (as needed).
• Lead scalability of existing solutions or create repeatable solutions (e.g., best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code) and ensure effective documentation of repeatable solutions. Influence major product decisions based on developer feedback or technical expertise.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and managing partners and customers.
• Experience with edge computing, distributed systems or data center transformation.
• Experience in system design and any one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

Preferred qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure designing multi-cloud solutions.
• 3 years of experience building solutions using ML/AI.
• Experience partnering across business units, stakeholders, vendors and teams to achieve common goals.
• Experience managing distributed teams globally on scaled programs.
• Ability to communicate complex information to executive internal/external stakeholders.

• At least one year as a front desk receptionist in a school.

Scope of works

• Handle enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Distribute daily relief planning to teachers.
• Manage the packing and distribution of MOE collaterals.
• Assist sick and injured students; call parents if needed.
• Open and distribute incoming mail.
• Update staff pigeonholes for staff movements.
• Help with P1 registration and admin tasks.
• Prepare and pack exam materials.
• Perform filing and data entry.
• Assist with financial assistance letters as needed.
• Support logistical needs for school events.
• Complete other administrative tasks as required.

• Sale of CEPAS cards and allied products at ticket or concession card replacement offices located at various MRT stations or bus interchanges
• Assisting in top up, card refunds or card claims
• Assist with dispatch duties to the different stations when required

Job Requirements:
