Scope of Works:

• To assist the teachers in the preparation of crockery and ingredients for cookery classes.

Scope of works:

• To provide teaching and learning support to teachers such as preparation of resources / materials for Science laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions, etc;
• To assist to source and purchase materials for laboratory activities, practical tests and enrichment programme and to aid science teachers with the clearing up after laboratory lessons and when required;
• To assist to prepare forms and expenditures claims and keep copies of invoices and receipts;
• To label and keep records of existing and new Science teaching and learning materials and laboratory apparatus such as teachers’ desk copies, reference books, DVDs, lab apparatus and chemicals, etc;
• To maintain loan records of Science Resources;

Scope of Works:

1. Detention Sessions (DS) Co-ordinator- Assist HOD & SH Student Management to

(a) Supervise DS Monday to Friday, after school till 4.30pm;

(b) Implement, monitor and supervise DS and maintain consistency in process and following up procedures;

(c) Follow-up with defaulters;

(d) Upkeep, maintain and compile detention records and data;

(e) Revert to Form Teachers (FTs) on detention attendance;

(f) Maintain DS as an effective deterrent mesasure for truancy and late coming;

2. Maintain smooth operations of the Student Management (SM) Centre

(a) Maintain and upkeep the operations and data records at Student Management Centre (include loan and issue of items, lost and found, early leave from school premises, attend to unwell students, update late-coming and attendance records into school data management system, etc.)

(b) Attend to students’ drop in at Student Management Centre during and after school hours and liaise to update teachers/ Year Heads (YH) / Heads of Department (HOD) / School Leaders (SL) when needed

3. Case Management and follow-up

(a) Collaborate with Student Management Team to monitor the development of students sent for disciplinary measures.

(b) Refer and update HOD/ YH/ SL on potential issues related to pupils and school discipline, based on information & personal observation.

(c) Conduct follow-up actions with students offenders after investigations conclude such as monitoring and supervising the completion of assignments, on in-house suspension, afterschool detention, etc.

(d) Daily sign-in/out for students on movement monitoring

(e) Assist HOD and YH to follow up on frequent absentees,

(f) Accompany officers on house calls and home visits.

4. Maintain school tone

(a) Work together with other School Management team members and Operations Managers (OM) in ensuring school security and maintaining overall school tone.

· Conduct intake interview to assess clients’ functional readiness and motivation for enrolment in vocational training, and/or working with clients to find, seek and get as well as sustain in employment

· Administer competency assessment on clients' skills and abilities and feedback to them on their strengths and areas for improvement

· Conduct periodic review the progress of the work plans against the expected outcomes and make suggestion/s on revision of plans

· Maintain, collate and analyse data in preparation for reporting to Management & funders

· Plan and execute outreach with the job coaches to potential employers, fostering working relationships that will lead to employment or external traineeship opportunities for MLH clients

· Provide post-job support to the employers & MLH clients and address work-related issues arising at workplaces by MLH clients

· Develop mental health knowledge to facilitate in training and workshops to raise awareness and promote inclusive employment practices to the employers

· Develop capacity and capabilities of the employment services team to provide consultancy and advisory to government and employers in promoting mental well-being, embracing diversity and inclusivity in the human resource practices and building a mental health friendly workplace

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, psychology or related field is preferred

· Proven experience in job coaching and staff supervision. Those with experience working with persons with special needs or mental health issues will have an added advantage

· Good initiative and strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Good communication skills and ability to facilitate employability workshops to groups of employers

· Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and a team player

· Able to travel to offsite work locations, ie. employer work sites, with possibility of more than 1 location a day

Contract Period:

• Base Period : 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 (12 Months)
• Optional renewal: 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2027 (24 Months)

• Monday to Friday : 7.30 Am to 4.30 Pm

Scope of Works:

• Candidate is required to work in a primary school setting
• Provide support to teachers in preparation of teaching and learning resources
• Provide support to teachers in implementing interventions for students with learning & special needs, behavioural and attendance concerns
• Assist teachers in classroom management to provide conducive learning environment
• Assist in inventory management such as stock-take and packing of resources
• Assist in school programmes and events including learning journeys
• Assist in administrative matters such as collection of data or any other duties required by supervisor

Scope of Works:

(a) As directed by the teachers-in-charge, prepare and set up apparatus, equipment and other materials for practical lessons. Retrieve,clear away and clean apparatus and equipment, including safe disposal of waste after the lessons.

(b) Provide to the teaching and learning of science (and maths) in the three science laboratories; carry out risk assessments together with the teachers whenever appropriate or necessary, to ensure safety.

(c) Keeping the three science labs & its preparation room clean, sanitised, safe, well-organised and clutter-free. Ensure the three labs are safe and secure when not in use.

(d) Maintaining the scientific instruments, and ensuring that supplies are accessible for teachers to use for lessons. Report to the HODs of Science and Mathematics for these:

• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of Science (& Maths) Departments’ resources.
• Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and resource materials.
• Check deliveries & reorder essential items as necessary.
• Carry out and arrange for the maintenance and repair of apparatus and equipment. Upkeep required records and logs of all maintenance and servicing of equipment.

(e) Perform simple administrative and office work such as maintaining records and inventory stock lists, preparing labels and posters for science labs and liasing with vendors for quotations for items ordered.

(f) Operate and maintain basic office equipment and material.

(g) Any other jobs assigned by the school such as covering reception duties, packing of resources, or supporting the adhoc tasks needed for special school events and etc.
