Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveillance of education technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, identifying those that can be used for education purposes, particularly for courses pertaining to these disciplines, including Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
• Inform and work with faculty staff to promote the use of education technology and AI tools
• Develop prototype applications of AI in courses that can be easily adapted for courses
• Develop the workflow for the incorporation of new education technology into courses
• Develop testing and assessment processes, incorporating education technology and AI tool
• Provide support in communications, publications and administration related to academic matters, including working with other departments such as the cybersecurity team, legal office in this area

Job Requirements:

• PhD from a recognized university
• Knowledge of education technology, AI-tools, social media and user preferences
• Pedagogical knowledge particularly in design of learning activities, testing and assessment with the use of education technology such as AI-tools, social media
