A Research Assistant / Research Associate is critical to provide clinical research support to the Lead Principal Investigator and Team Leads who run the HELIOS Study, in such a manner that promotes good quality sample and research data collection.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform carotid ultrasonography for measurement of Carotid artery intima media thickness (CIMT) measurements based on the study protocol.
• Carry out analysis of the acquired images to quantify carotid arterial health.
• Assess and give suggestions to improve digital image/readings quality
• Contribute to the production of research reports and/or publications.
• Assist in co-ordination of project-related meetings.
• Undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Key Competencies and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (for Research Assistant) or Master’s degree (for Research Associate) in biomedical sciences, biotechnology or related fields.
• Skills in using statistical software, Microsoft software will be advantageous.
• 1 year of relevant experience in analyzing ultrasound and/or ophthalmic images would be advantageous. Training will be provided.

The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Technology and Design is seeking a full-time Research Fellow or Research Associate, to join a growing research team dedicated to understanding human behavior in cities.

Successful applicants will contribute to a research program that explores the intersection of human behavior, urban design, technology, and livability. The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting a Research Assistant/Associate Policy Analyst. The rapid population ageing in Singapore calls for innovative solutions. We aim to assess the impact of health promotion programmes (e.g. urban care farming, cognition training, etc) on the health and health-related behaviours of participants. This project will involve recruitment, assessment, and analysis of the research data. The candidate will also be working on models in policy evaluation. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.
