Full Job Description:
The Wolfgang Violin Studio invites applications for a full-time position in Cello beginning in the 2024 year.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for dedicated Pianists interested to join our teaching team and embark on an exciting journey to nurture the next generation of musicians. Successful applicants will work closely with the Head of Cello Department to deliver the Cello programs across all levels effectively for students in both individual and group classes.
• Inspire, and guide students towards graded exams and building their knowledge in practical, aural and theoretical skills
• Contribute to the Cello academic resources
• Upkeep of library and studio resources
• Active participation is expected in weekly teacher meetings and student progress reports Qualifications/Requirements
• Senior Teachers to teach advanced students up to Diploma: minimum three years of teaching experience
• Junior Teachers to teach beginner students from three years of age: minimum two years of teaching experience
• Highly-motivated with a passion to teach and inspire children to learn
• Have a cheerful and approachable demeanor towards children and parents
• Good communication skills and fluent in English
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Music
• Knowledge of the ABRSM Exam and Trinity Guildhall syllabus
