JOB PURPOSE

Assist and support the Bed Management Unit (BMU) to plan, coordinate and provide efficient and clinically appropriate ward placement of all patients entering or transferring within the Hospital

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development and improvement of workflows and processes in BMU
• Assist in the development of algorithm for bed allocation based on hospital’s clinical segmentation and patients’ requirements
• Assist in the bed assignment operations for patients admitted or for scheduled operations
