The Job

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research (either quantitative or qualitative, through primary or secondary research) on financial trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.

The Talent

• Minimally 2 years experience in customer financial research, market analysis, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Q) to extract, manipulate, and visualize data effectively.
• Some proficiency in using Qualtrics experience management platform, for creating surveys, dashboards & data analysis is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and present findings in a structured and understandable format.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate findings to diverse audiences.

The successful candidate will work with A/P Dr Sergio Hernandez Marin in the Data Analytics Consulting Center on both internal-facing (NUS) and external facing (startups, SMEs, MNC) Data Science and Data Architecture roles.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

We are recruiting a highly motivated research fellow with a strong background in neuroscience or artificial intelligence. Our current study focuses on understanding the function and organisation of cortical circuits in the mammalian brain underlying neural intelligence. We integrate various cutting-edge technologies, including a 2-photon random access mesoscope to record >10,000 neurons, electrophysiology, optogenetics and virus-mediated circuit mapping to investigate the link between neural circuits and behaviour. We are especially interested in applying concepts from AI research to neuroscience. The successful candidate will have unique expertise in cutting-edge optical technologies using awake behaving mice and learning opportunities in AI.
