Operations:

• To ensure that all VIP arrival rooms are checked and amenities are replenished in the rooms prior to the guest’s arrival

• Conducting technical feasibility study, life cycle study and planning for building engineering.

• Preparation of study reports, design reports, technical notes and public consultation papers.

• Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications.

• Evaluation of tenders and preparation of tender assessment reports.

• Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.

Job Description

Reporting to Front Office Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible to:

Operations

The candidate is expected to have at least one year of relevant experience in the Hotel industry. The candidate should be meticulous, responsible and able to multi-task. Good knowledge of Front Office Operations, Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of Opera is essential.

What you’ll do:

• Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of road work, Sewage, permanent and temporary traffic, drainage and utilities
• Familiar with the latest authorities’ design codes, specifications and requirements as well as submission procedures
• Able to be the design lead communicating and liaise with client and authorities while managing the team members design deliverable of drawings and reports.
• Able to liaise and coordinates with other design discipline/departments as well as managing sub consultants in preparation of drawing and reports for submission
• Able to communicate with clients and approving agencies for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design intent and options and expediting approvals
• Able to supervise the team and carry out independent review of submission documents

· Ensure all function rooms are fully set not just only in accordance to requirements/instructions as stated in Banquet Event Order but to be responsible for the smooth running of functions to ensure guest stratification

· Supervise subordinates effectively so that guest’s satisfaction is achieved and disciplines subordinates whatever necessary

· Coordinate relevant functional details as well as guests’ requirements and delegate respective duties to subordinates to ensure guests’ requirements are being met

· Coordinate individual functions with respective Sales Manager

· Plan and coordinate all relevant details of individual events from the information available on the Banquet Event Order with subordinates and department concerned

· Administrate post function report after end of function and to identify the problems and suggest solutions to Director of Banquet Operations Manager when appropriates

• Preparation of design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects.  
• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team. 
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. 
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others. 
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. 
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. 
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. 
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. 
• Prepares technical specification sections. 
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
