The title holder will be part of a team that design, test and commission the electrical control systems for ACMV/HVAC systems in buildings. The candidate will work with other internal engineering teams to ensure that the control system meets overall project objectives and goals.

Specific job responsibilities:

• Assist in electrical design and control drafting for tenders and projects
• Implement automation system controls for building M&E system (ACMV) using PLC based hardware and software to connect various automation components as per system design
• Work closely with internal teams such as mechanical design and project engineers to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions to solve engineering problems
• Review specifications and standard practices for projects and tenders
• Maintain ACMV automation control systems to ensure optimal operating conditions through equipment lifespan

To excel in this job, the candidate will require a high level of organization, creativity, attention to detail, and engineering knowledge to successfully perform design, engineering, and field start up tasks for System Integration in Electrical Controls for building M&E systems.

Minimum job requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Controls/Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge in PLC and/or Electric Circuit Design
• Relevant experience/ experience in ACMV design/controls is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritize and work independently to meet project timelines

Responsibilities:

• Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; escalating project completion impediments.
• Day-to-day management on site, including supervising and monitoring the site and co-ordinate sub-contract works
• Liaise with clients and consultants on project.
• Produce proper reports and documentation before and after project completion.
• Complies with codes and regulations by complying with requirements; preparing permit applications, plans, and compliance reports.
• Assist to update of As-Built drawing on site.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree/ Higher Nitec in electrical.
• Min 2 years working experience in A/C maintenance and servicing/break down
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
