• Carry out tendering procedure and tender analysis to ensure contractors whom are selectedhave the capability to complete the project on time and within budget.
• To carry out contractual review of projects.
• To carry out assessment and valuation of work completed and design variations.
• Provide regular cost reporting, project update and forecasting.
• Assist various stakeholders during planning stage.
• Manage Project budgeting and Project Closing.
• Ensure Project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and accepted by the Stakeholder.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Engineering and Assistant Director of Engineering.

Sustainability / Green Projects / Innovation Management:

• Develop and lead the implementation of sustainability strategy aligned with organisation and corporate goals
• Lead the preparation and execute the implementation on Net Zero Carbon, Zero Energy, ISO 14K, GSTC, Green Mark Certificates and any other green certificates
• Lead to achieve other green certificates aligned with organisation and corporate goals
• Lead and manage the project planning, programming, monitoring and control of Projects until closing
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with internal teams and various stakeholders
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors and external parties to ensure project is completed within scope, time and cost inclusive of attending meetings on-site
• Stay updated on environmental sustainability best practises / green technology
• Monitor progress and provide report on the outcomes
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Engineering and Assistant Director of Engineering

Qualifications

• Ideally with an Engineering degree
• Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience
• Knowledge in innovation and sustainability industry, green certification, net zero carbon and zero energy. Candidate with certified green mark manager will be an advantage
• Innovative mindset to support the hotel innovation and sustainability team
• Strong Project Management Knowledge from initial to closing
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, lead the projects and sustainability team and manage various stakeholders
• Able to work independently.
• Results-driven individual capable of effective people management, quality control and projects delivery on-time within budget in a fast-paced environment.
• Good set of skills such as cost planning, contract management, creative thinking, problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Candidate with PMP will be an advantage

Your Role

What Will You Do

What Do We Want

• At least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board.
• At least 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering design for building services.
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board.
• Proven experience in a consulting firm with proven track records in major development projects.
• Have knowledge in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit will be added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Accomplishing equipment performance related results.
• Provide recommendation and equipment optimization initiatives to promote Operational Reliability Improvement and Right First Time strategy on maintenance and utility operations.
• Support utility operation to manage and monitor operation of site-wide utility equipment and systems
• Serves as the Energy manager to submit all regulatory reports to government agencies
• Monitor, trend, analyze energy and water data to improve and optimize usage.
• Support new project development/ implementation by reviewing project plans; discussing utilities requirement with project team/related parties and coordinating resources on inspections and commissioning of new equipment to conform with operational standards.
• Participate and support global initiatives to share/learn best practices and implement improvements to achieve high reliability and reduction in energy/water cost.
• Engage and inspire Utilities Specialist on performance expectations and coach team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skills principles.
• Support project construction and commissioning by reviewing new commissioning plans, discussing equipment needs and modifications with contractors, engineers and consultants, coordinating activities related to utility equipment and systems.
• Lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support investigations.

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering related qualifications.
• Energy Manager certifications is must & Boiler Steam Engineer certificate would be useful.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
