Responsibilities:

Design, detailing, specification preparation and construction oversight for the full range of Mechanical packages for design and build of advanced technology and life science projects
Determining and defining sustainability targets;
Review of the design of Mechanical systems, produced by other team members, for technical compliance with specified and contracted client/customer requirements;
Formulating and driving any necessary recovery plans relating to Design,Cost &Schedule
Representing Mechanical Department in monthly HOD Meetings;
Performs monthly department meetings and provides a status update on development of projects and business development;
Informs and updates on latest technical developments and codes/ standards updates in the industry in regards to Mechanical engineering
Attend monthly HOD Meeting
Mentoring of the Lead Engineers with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.
Establishes and updates individual competency profile for each team member;
Creates development and training plan for each direct report;
Actively manages performance (goals, action plans and key performance factors);
Establishes succession management planning;

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 10 years of Design and Construction experience in a high-tech industry or other multiple discipline orientated construction business
Experience in implementing change strategies internally
Experience in strategic and operational planning and implementation
Experience in process and project management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust solutions for data orchestration and data engineering.

• Maintain and enhance in-house applications for workflow automation, analytics, and AI, including technologies like Large Language Model (LLM) and chatbots.

• Work closely with IT (Information Technology), OT (Operations Technology) teams, business users, and operators to ensure the successful delivery of workflows, business processes, and HSEQ outcomes.

• Comply with cybersecurity and information risk management standards.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Python, data engineering, machine learning, workflow automation.

• At least 3 years' experience in data engineering, workflow automation, analytics and proficient in Python and SQL

• Knowledge in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Apache Airflow, Dagster, Power App/Automate/BI, Azure (Web App, SQL), Flask APIs, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, IIOT protocols, Swift/SwiftUI, robotics, will be considered advantageous.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions and will receive relevant training to be successful in the role.

Pre-Requisites

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

· Minimum 10 -15 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment is preferred.

· Certified Singapore Professional Engineer will be an advantage.

· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.

· Competent user of relevant engineering software.

· Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Section Manager for the proper management of the 3D model relevant to be controlled at Digital Engineering, with the modeling work being carried out in all local / oversea satellite offices.
• Responsible for setting up of Hexagon Smart3D Enterprise / Aveva Marine (AM) / E3D system for projects in line with company and project procedures within the stipulated time while starting up the project, managing the Smart3D / AM / E3D / system of various projects and continuous technical support.
• Responsible for development and implementation of project specific Catalogues and Specifications for Piping & Pipe Supports, Mechanical / Equipment, HVAC, Hull Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines in Smart3D / AM / E3D and setting up of project specific drawing templates in the drafting module of Smart3D / AM / E3D.
• Monitors the integrity of the 3D model global workshare database and its activities is well maintained and regular transfer of information from 3D model to other IT systems is functioning properly as expected.
• Develops project specific modelling procedure and set up the 3D model accordingly. Conduct regular trainings to multi-discipline end users of the 3D modelling required based on the client specifications and company standards.
• Works closely with the discipline leads of the projects to understand their requirements and address their demand for on time Development or Customization required to automate tasks, Drawing Templates, Macros, Isometrics, and Interface to other system.
• Troubleshoots to resolve the issues on time and if required escalate issues and work with the Software vendor’s technical support for Smart3D / AM / E3D in other locations for quick resolution.
• Be familiar with the work flows of all the IT systems implemented in the project. Proactive in providing input to IT Personnel and highlight in advance if there are any technical challenges.
• Coordinates actively with other oversea offices, for the projects executed from multiple locations, attend meetings and communicate effectively. Flexible and ready to assume additional roles like Digital coordinator, Digital Engineer in a project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Candidates with relevant experience in Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas projects especially in Marine & Offshore projects such as Drill ships, FPSO, FLNG, Fixed Platforms, Wind Farms in the capacity of Digital Engineering with similar job scope described above may be considered for a senior role
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyse problems and provide focused solutions to assigned projects.
