We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a focus on application development and process improvement to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Support external audits related to IT Department responsibilities (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27001, Finance Audits)
• Collaborate with the application security team to enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, with track record of successfully managing internal projects and processes in a technology-driven environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Proficiency in software development, including:

1. Programming languages: C#.NET, .NET Core, Angular/React, Blazor
2. MS SQL Server 2016+
3. Object-oriented design concepts
4. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile processes

• Additional knowledge in Agile Scrum, BI tools (e.g., QlikSense, Splunk), DevOps, container development, and cybersecurity is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills

Job Description

• Prepare and review Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Works specifications.
• Assist the ICA Lead and manage the engineering design works for the Control System Architecture, Data Communication Networks, Functional Design Specification (FDS), Process Control Narrative (PCN) and Process Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Programmable Logic Controller / Distributed Control System (PLC/DCS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and any other ICA Works as required.
• Handle equipment package and procurement including technical specifications preparation, technical clarification, technical bid analysis, etc.

A day in the life of an engineer at site

• Contributing technical expertise to project drawings/designs/operating parameter and overseeing construction engineering processes
• Plan detailed instructions (with updated engineering drawings) on daily project activities, and monitor progress to ensure activities are executed as per project specifications.
• Assist in project cost control in line with the project budget (e.g. ensuring value-based procurement practices, optimum machine utilisation and usage of spares and scrap process compliance)
• Understand the geotechnical aspects of the project e.g. Soil Condition, CPT etc, so as to identify risk to project and to take steps to mitigate.
• Ensure all project documentation (progress reports, progress claims, daily reports, site diary, QA/QC report etc.) are submitted and follow up to ensure collection of approved documents in a timely manner.
• Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections, to submit accurate Project Finance Reports and work related reports in a timely fashion.

• Perform analysis and design in accordance with current legislation, standards and codes of practice
• Prepare detailed construction drawings with the assistance of draughtsperson.
• Conduct regular site visits to integrate design concept and actual ground conditions.
• Quality Control (QC) review and verification between design assumptions and actual site conditions.
• Carry out geotechnical analysis and design using tools such as Slope/W and Plaxis as well as Keller’s in-house software.

• Prepare technical proposal for remedial work during construction when required.

You will need:

Our client is in the smart factory, looking for an IoT Engineer in the west. The role involves constructing, managing, and sustaining the IoT platform. Additionally, you will be tasked with enhancing the IoT platform's performance and diagnosing data flows within the organization.

Candidates with some IoT Background and good experience in JavaScript, C/C++ for application and dashboard developments will be prioritised.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the IoT platform, encompassing the In-House IoT Platform, PTC Kepware, and PTC ThingWorx.
• Formulate and execute interfaces connecting PLCs to pipelines.
• Arrange and optimize IoT Docker containers for applications deployed within the private cloud system.
• Define requirements for PLC/Socket/DB to DB interfaces in collaboration with field engineers, facilitating pipeline testing, monitoring, and optimization.
