Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Planning & Cost Control Department in SIA Engineering Division. You will be part of the team that oversees Maintenance Planning.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Plan and implement Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs and ensuring all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements.

• Support hands-on cloud platform provisioning and configuration management coding development, deployment
• Lead the Cloud new product POC as well as cloud provisioning automation and solution delivery.
• Support some of the hands-on cloud platform operation including patching, incident management, change implementation in non-office hours according to roster schedule if required from RUN team
• Deliver business cloud solution by implementing the cloud resources (provisioning, hardening, etc.)
• Continuously improve the monitoring and logging engineering for cloud area and enable the end-to-end monitoring and dashboard reporting
• Standardize the runbook by automating the standard BAU tasks and train up the less experienced engineer to execute the regular cloud tasks
• Create, maintain the operational/technical documentation for engineering product/solution
• Build coding for platform automation and scripting for the runbook to 7x24 monitoring/engineering team.
• Conduct new cloud product testing, runbook, and packing as cloud service offering to business users.
• Plan and execute necessary controls/activities for infrastructure changes.
• Assist to plan, implement, and review the capacity planning (any limits) for resources and report/recommend to management if required.
• May involve for executing some of the DR/DR drill for different markets according to local compliance and BCP requirement if required from RUN team
• Support the architecture team to support their design and configure the enterprise system landscapes
• Provide on-call support by responding to critical incident both during and after business hours if required from assisting RUN team.
• Participate and coordinate with Cloud operation/strategy with Headquarter.

Engineering Planner (Permanent position)

Salary up to $4000

Responsibilities

• Plan and execution of pipe and fibre infrastructure projects, including Common Service Ducts (CSD), Utility Service Ducts (USD), new commercial and housing developments, and backbone Fibre Networks.

• Engagement with various government agencies and utility providers finalise the CSD/USD design.

• Deconflicting management of CSD/USD design and implementation with other infrastructure providers or developers.

• Update Network Inventory records of cables and pipelines according to the planned project and implementation on-site.

• Oversee the project implementation, provide timely updates on the project status and provide assistance to the implementation team.

• Ensuring strict adherence to established operational procedures and engineering directives.

• Conduct acceptance activities to ensure infrastructure constructed is fit for purpose.

• Perform additional duties as delegated by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, accompanied by three years of relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of the planning and construction processes involved in telecommunication or underground infrastructure.

• Knowledge of network rollout or implementation would be an advantage.

• Hands-on experience in telecommunication infrastructure construction, with proven abilities in effective contractor management and communication with internal stakeholders, will be an advantage.

• Possess project management and communications skills.

What’s the Role?

Provide reactive planning for corrective maintenance (CM) activities i.e. developing efficient work plans (tasks, sequences, parts/materials, craft/manpower and resources) for corrective maintenance plans.

Position Description, Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Compliance to HSSE standards and requirements to make Shell Jurong Island (SJI) a safe place to work, and accountable for all assigned Critical activities.
• Perform Authorized Applicant/Authorized Engineer as per SJI ePermit to Work (ePTW) requirement.
• Drive high standard of personal accountability & performance to deliver the Site & Department goals and target.
• In order to ensure SJI’s assets operate safely & reliably, without suffering any process safety incident or causing life-changing events to person(s), the staff is accountable to ensure compliance to those Critical Activities assigned for the Job Position.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure AMS-ME work processes are executed as designed and are delivering results, e.g. ensure compliance with AMS-ME, Global-M and other Shell Group business objectives.
• Coordinate and engage Operations/ Operation Maintenance Coordinator (OMCs) to ensure all job request are clear and concise and maintenance work orders are prioritized and challenged.
• Carry out site checks & planning of work orders end to end process, by breaking down all relevant maintenance activities into logical tasks with resources, parts/material, craft/manpower and sequences for optimal work execution. Tasking of planned work orders to the relevant engineers/contractors for execution.
• Responsible for material procurement and availability prior to execution of all CM works.
• Create and maintain library of plans for HSSE, corrective maintenance activities. Ensure that library plans contain reasonably accurate information on cost, materials, services labor and other resource requirements. Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that corrective maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
• Initiate HSE plans/JHA for the planned work orders to ensure safe execution of work.
• Ensure CM plans are scheduled accordingly and executed before their due dates. Accountable to ensure no overdue of all CM works. This will include the necessary materials and services (resource) procurement and availability.
• Create and maintain library of plans for HSE, preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Ensure that library plans contain reasonably accurate information on cost, materials, services labor and other resource requirements.
• Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
• Assist in budget planning based on past years cost trending. Plan, track and cost accuracy and provide inputs to improve contract strategy.
• Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements. Provide feedback on effectiveness of corrective maintenance.
• Participate and support ISO/HSSE-MS audits, as well as other related external audits, as part of Company’s HSSE Control framework and management system.
• Identify waste elimination and LEAN maintenance opportunities for maintenance, and work with relevant key stakeholders to implement gap closure plans.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes.
• Standby duty Coverage.
• Carry out any other related duties as required.

Key experiences and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At Least 5 years relevant field experience as plant engineer with strong Mechanical Engineering background.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across various department, with various contractors on site. Strong stakeholder management.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Meticulous and detailed.
