What the role is

The Sustainability Division (SD) plans, strategises and develops initiatives to drive resource conservation and environmental sustainability across the public, private and people sectors. The Waste Management Division (WMD) is responsible for the regulation of the waste collection industry, the Public Waste Collection scheme, general waste disposal facilities, the Extended Producer Responsibility, Mandatory Packaging and Waste Reporting schemes. What you will be working on

You will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment that will be involved in the planning, development and implementation of waste management policies, strategies and initiatives specifically relating to packaging and plastic waste management. This will include the disposable carrier bag charge, beverage container return scheme, Mandatory Packaging Reporting scheme as well as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for packaging waste management etc. Depending on your suitability, you may be responsible for the following:

• Work with stakeholders including other departments/agencies to operationalise and implement the plans and roadmaps

• Handle system configuration, testing, and commissioning for pro-audio solutions in large venues and corporate meeting rooms, ensuring integration with other audiovisual and video conferencing solutions.
• Conduct end-user training sessions on implementing and utilizing the solutions.
• Work closely with in-house AV designers and engineers, partnering with various manufacturers like Martin Audio, EV, D&B, BOSE, Samsung, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Logitech, etc. Implement fully integrated solutions for various venues, including meeting rooms, lecture halls, experience centers, command centers, auditoriums, and ballrooms.

Job Requirements:

• ITE/ Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in System configuration, Testing & Commissioning for Pro-Audio solution that includes all of such equipment: Microphone, Mixing console, Digital Sound Processor (DSP), Amplifier, Speaker.
• Must have min 2 years in DSP programming.

Optional Certification

• Technical audio certification from renowned audio institution or manufacturer
• Dante Level 1 & 2, Cisco CCNT, CCNA
• Crestron CTI-P101, CTI-P201, Extron Control Professional (ECP), Extron Authorized Programmer (EAP)
