The incumbment supports the Senior Manager IT to manage the Information technology operations function of SIN Branch, which includes day-to-day IT operational and maintenance of ENBD Singapore branch IT system and network infrastructure, but not limited to the followings.

• Provide desktop support to business users, attends to any technical and operational issues on IT hardware, software and network related problems
• On-and off-boarding staff and desk movement.
• Provides basic administration support of Windows production servers
• Provides support to business users on video conferencing on Microsoft Service Hub using MS Team, VoIP on Avaya IP phones/Softphones and IPC turrets for Treasury
• Maintenance of local server room that equips with system racks, fire suppressing agent, UPS, water leakage, humidity control, etc.
• Hardware and equipment inventory management. Technology refresh of end-of-life IT endpoints/assets
• The person has to assist in IT project initiatives and implementation for SIN branch as well.
• Being 1st level support on ENBD Group application systems, escalate any outstanding application and system issues to Head Office (HO) IT for advice and resolution. Works and liaises with HOIT on weekend activity and performs sanity check/testing.
• Escalation and management of IT incidents (Remedy) and problem management tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
• Manage and support daily/month-end local MIS reporting for Treasury, Finance and Operations departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Diploma in IT with at least 5 years working in an IT department
• Preferrable experienced in banking environment
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 – Active Directory and domain services, file and print management, etc.
• Good understanding of IT network infrastructure on Firewall, Router, Switch, Network Access Control, Aruba Wireless controller and Clearpass, etc. to perform basic network troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Access’s VBA programming to manage daily MIS reporting.

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience and required familiarity with at least 2 databases among Mysql/MariaDB, PostgreSQL/EDB, Oracle, MSSQL,DB2, MongoDB and Redis.

· Position requires the ability to work various work schedules that support a 24x7 coverage included nights, weekends and holidays shift.

· Alert monitoring for all database flavors (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, EDB, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Redis, and Mongo) and take appropriate action.

· Daily health monitoring of production database ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

· Perform daily backup monitoring and take action to have recovery solution in place.

· Managing the database availability and performance, including incident and problem management.

· Carry out periodical production patch and upgrade management.

· Work with users and vendors to take timely and appropriate steps to resolve and troubleshoot issues impacting service levels.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains in database operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance

· Required familiarity with multiple databases among MariaDB, PostgreSQL, EDB, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Redis, and Mongo.

· MariaDB exposure to replication concepts to resync.

· MariaDB backup and restore & perform point-in-time recovery.

· MariaDB Ensure performance, security of databases.

· Oracle/DB2 Basic knowledge on backup and archive logging to ensure resiliency.

· Oracle/DB2/MSSQL familiarity to monitor and taken action for LRQ and LOCKWAITS.

· PostgreSQL/EDB get familiarize with LRQ, LRT, LRIIT monitoring and take action accordingly.

· Redis basic monitoring of database, shards and sync status.

· Perform database patching/upgrade both manually & via Robosys.

· Stay up-to-date with banking industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to database management, security, and compliance

· Basic knowledge of Linux operating system (RedHat)/AIX/Windows and basic commands.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network and server systems (Solarwinds)
• Single point of contact with customers/users, resolver groups, third party service providers
• Managing incidents/service requests reported by users
• Tracking incidents/service requests and ensure closure within agreed timescales

Working Hours:

• 12-hours Rotating Day and Night shift work including weekends/PH
• Day shift: 9.00am – 9.00pm
• Night shift: 9.00pm – 9.00am
• Work 3 days off 2 days
