Utilities Engineer (Tuas/1 Year Contract/ Up to $8000)

The Utilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the facility, equipment and systems are maintained in accordance with the detailed design and that GMP qualification is achieved and complied. The engineer will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Utilities system operations, maintenance and provide technical/expertise to ensure readiness for routine operations.

The engineer shall ensure adherence to standards and good engineering practices. This includes ensuring the design meets the requirements of Manufacturing, Quality, Information Systems, and Engineering groups. • Responsible to research and select appropriate master calibrators for various instruments used in the workshop. These calibrators serve as reference standards to ensure the accuracy of measuring instruments.
• Responsible to set up calibration workshop, procure and maintain standard calibration equipment such as multimeters, temperature and pressure calibrator, signal generator, Mass and Weight Calibrators, etc., needed to perform calibrations accurately as per procedures.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and startup of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Provide training and support to team members and maintenance personnel on system functionalities and procedures and compliance with relevant standards.
• Create and maintain a plan/list of all instruments requiring calibration in the workshop and field. This plan/list should include information such as instrument type, serial number, calibration due dates, and historical calibration data within the Maximo system.
• Establish a calibration schedule based on instrument types, usage frequency, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements to ensure timely calibrations and compliance.

You will help to design and develop Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems and algorithms for our drone systems and be part of a tight-knit team that provides safe, reliable drone systems and quality services to our distinguished customers in Singapore and around the region.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Design, develop and modify guidance, navigation, and flight control systems and algorithms for our unmanned aircraft systems.
• Develop and modify 6-DOF and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation environments. • Select, test, evaluate and integrate new sensors or navigation systems onto our drone systems.
• Write, modify, and test firmware and flight code that runs on the flight control computers of our drone systems (in C or C++).
• Analyze flight data to verify flight performance and to help to troubleshoot issues that are found during the flights of our drone systems.
• Generate documentation on the specifications, design, test procedures and test results of the GNC systems and algorithms that were developed.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Support ground and flight test activities.

Requirements
