Responsibilities

• Assist with technical tasks such as troubleshooting, testing, and repairing equipment.
• Responsible for researching new technologies, equipment, or products to support the company's goals.
• Responsible for recording data from equipment tests or experiments, which may include inputting data into spreadsheets or databases.
• Responsible for assisting with equipment maintenance, including cleaning, calibration, or other routine maintenance tasks.
• Assigned to support project teams, assisting with project planning, testing, and documentation.
• Learn and develop their technical skills and knowledge throughout their internship, which could include attending training sessions or workshops.

Requirements

• Interns interested in this position should hold relevant certifications in Marine Engineering or a related discipline (NITEC/Diploma/Degree)
• Regular working hours are 8:30-17:30

• Designing and implementing an automation framework for all aspects of the application lifecycle,

· including build, test, and deployment.

• Implements reusable tools and self-service capabilities with automated infrastructure operations,

· improving the developer experience and productivity.

• Performing operations tasks such as monitoring application performance over time or

· troubleshooting issues with production applications.

• Monitoring network performance to ensure that the platform can handle increased traffic from new

· applications or services.

• Designing, building, and maintaining the systems underlying an application platform.

• Developing new technologies to support existing applications or creating new applications using new

· technologies.

• Maintains and ensure Platform adheres to SLA.

• Provides Templates for Tenants’ consumption

• Provides and documents SOPs, Playbooks/Runbooks

About You:

• Experience with implementing containerization technologies such as Redhat Openshift/Kubernetes

• Experience with working on hybrid environments such as AWS/On-prem

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/Terraform/AWS Cloud Formation

• Experience with SAST/DAST tools such as Sonarqube/Fortify SCA/Webinspect

• Experience with installation and configuration of PostgreSQL databases

• Experience with installation and configuration of Redhat SSO

• Experience with load balancing setup for TCP/IP/HTTP/DNS/routings

• Knowledge of IT security standards such as CIS

• Knowledge of machine learning and setup of MLOps tools such as H2O

• Good knowledge of hardware technologies, such as NAS/SAN/Nutanix

Desired Background:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering or

· equivalent

• Minimum 1 year in Platform engineer role or similar role in server infrastructure setup

• Experience in software-defined/hardware infrastructure (VSphere, Nutanix).

• Knowledge with infrastructure provision tools (Docker, Ansible etc.).

The Microsoft 365 Messaging Engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365 within the Client’s organization. Roles And Responsibilities:

• Work within the Microsoft 365 team to learn, discover and equip with the latest Microsoft 365 service offerings & product knowledge
• Explore ways to adopt or adapt Microsoft’s new Microsoft 365 offerings, such as the Power Platform, based on Client’s business requirements
• Keen to explore Microsoft 365 services/offerings by setting up and test the new services in the Client’s test Microsoft 365 Tenant environment
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting of the main Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams Online Messaging Infrastructures
• Support Directory synchronization support between on-premise AD and Microsoft Entra
• Provide Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM) Support
• Act on Microsoft 365 service outages by keeping the Client informed and ensuring optimal SLA results.
• Work with other technical teams including Client’s network & Firewall team, as necessary, to ensure a secure, optimal connectivities to Microsoft 365 Cloud

Knowledge/Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
• Up to date knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Ability to configure Microsoft 365 to manage processes and configurations to Client’s requirements
• Able to present Microsoft 365 complex technical information clearly to a non-technical audience, with the ability to provide the appropriate level of detail.
