Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will:

• Attend field service calls within the Southeast Asia region
• Inspect, repair, and install gear drives and other transmission parts (i.e. planetary, mill drive, variator drives, marine drives, coupling etc.) at customer sites
• Drive direct interaction and coordination with customers’ site personnel
• Troubleshoot errors and advise on corrective action
• Write customer facing reports
• Read and work from blueprints, parts lists, and assembly protocols
• Disassemble gear drives, inspect disassembled parts, write up and report failed parts, and advise on replacement parts.
• Create expense reports

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power transmission, heavy equipment assembly, marine, or wind gearbox applications or 5 years of experience in field service operations
• Ideally possess gear box maintenance experience
• Possess ability to carry items up to 20 kg in weight, climb stairs and ladders generally up to 125 meters in height
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic maintenance/troubleshooting
• Willing to travel occasionally within SEA

Job Objective/s

Design and develop optoelectronics devices, including but not limited to FP lasers, DFB lasers, electro-absorption modulator/laser, photonics integrated circuits and their packaged modules, as well as photonics systems such as external cavity lasers to meet design goals and requirements.

To develop test set-ups and capabilities aligned to the company’s technology and product roadmap, and to integrate them with in-house manufacturing capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

▪ Primary responsibility is Design and develop the DFB/FP new products ,test methodologies, set-ups, and testing plans and procedures to characterize the optical, electrical, RF, and thermal performance of optoelectronic devices.

▪ Perform test and characterization runs to support the test requirements of New Product Innovation, New Requirement Engineering, Request For Customization, and Product Improvement projects.

▪ Perform waveguide and optical coupling tests of passive components, and electro-optical tests to characterize active optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits.

▪ Analysis of measured test results together with correlation to design requirements and simulation results to iterate towards improvement in design and performance of the optoelectronic devices and packaged modules.

▪ Generate test reports with measurement results and detailed analyses in a timely manner.

▪ Work closely with the wafer fab, assembly and packaging, design, and product teams of both in-house and outsourced partners.

Qualification Guidelines

Minimum Education

• Degree or Post-graduate degree (MSc/MPhil/PhD/EngD or equivalent) in Optoelectronics/Photonics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Physics or similar.
• Training in semiconductor-based light-emitting optoelectronics is preferred.

Minimum Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience with technical background in optoelectronics, optical components, and photonic device systems and sub-systems.
• Proven working experience in the optoelectronics manufacturing industry.

Specific Knowledge / Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Programming and scripting skills and computational literacy; e.g. C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Octave, etc.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Purpose and Scope

Your role will support the full project life cycle of our wind assets, from project development to project execution and asset management.

You will work with a global team with multidisciplinary skillset ranging from wind resource assessment, projection construction and management in multiple locations, asset management and technology assessment on wind resource extraction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Perform functional assurance, technical project preparation and execution support of offshore and onshore wind projects.
2. Prepare technical specifications, internal standards & engineering guidelines, supplier or contractor Scope of Works.
3. Support the wind resources analysis process, review, and evaluate energy yield results for new project development and financial investments.
4. Support wind project development and O&M resource at the group level
5. Work with various group functions; procurement, finance, SSHE, ESIA, etc. to achieve the above said objectives.
6. Review and organize review of internal and external deliverables (engineering drawings, technical reports, and procedures).

Qualifications & Experience

1. A bachelor’s degree in a technical such as Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, Maritime Engineering discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in on-shore and/or off-shore wind project development, technology selection and/or operating experience of wind farms.
3. Possess knowledge and familiarity with the wind IEC standards.
4. Expertise with software tools like WAsP , Windographer, Global Mapper Pro is advantageous.
