Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies on business development in consideration of the market/megatrends for power, Energy and Energy Transition
• Lead and manage group/groups of junior engineers/consultants to deliver requirements of projects accordingly

Requirements:

• Master/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering
• At least 15 years of Experience as an Electrical engineer in the power or Energy sector, ideally developed within a professional services/consulting environment.
• At least 5 years’ experience in management role for multinational companies
• Leadership skills with strategic mind
• Demonstrated diplomatic, management, and communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to write technical reports and programmes and deliver
• presentations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally
• Progressive experience design and specification of power plant substations,switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, system protection and controls would be advantageous
• Experience with project management and project planning software tools
• Experience of working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region
• Knowledge of, or the ambition to learn and develop expertise in, renewable technologies, such as Wind, Solar and BESS, would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of, or the ambition to learn and develop expertise in electrical
• systems used to manage new fuels such; as biofuel, hydrogen, ammonia etc., would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience of using electrical systems design software such as; ETAP(Electrical Transient Analyzer Program), PSS/E, AutoCad Electrical, PLS CADD, Bentley Substation would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

The job focuses on the development of image and signal processing algorithms for the next generations of optical inspection and metrology systems. The responsibilities of this position covers the entire life cycle of algorithms, including modeling, proof-of-concept design, production software design and implementation, performance characterization, documentation and user support. Since algorithms can affect many aspects of the system, significant amount of time be spent on cross-function team collaboration for prototyping and testing.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Physics with strong experience in algorithm development is preferred.
• The position requires a proven innovative track record and solid fundamental knowledge in the related fields of algorithm development, including image segmentation, texture analysis, classification, feature extraction, statistical data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, filter theory.
• Experience in any one of the following areas is a big plus: algorithm performance optimization, deep learning, distributed computing, parallel computing.
• Software skills required include C/C++, OOD/OOP, MATLAB and/or Python.
• The candidate needs to be a self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and/or in a team. Strong written and verbal communications skills are needed for extensive interactions with members of a multi-disciplinary global team.
