Responsibilities

· Leading and performing Analyses of consumer electronics products.

· Leading FA technicians on Elemental & Metallurgical Analyses(SEM< EDX, FTIR, Micro cross section etc.), Non-Destructive Analyses(CT scan, SAM, Laser Confocal Microscope etc.), Thermal Analyses (DSE, TGA), Physical & Mechanical Analyses (Hardness, Texture, Contact Angle, CMM, Smart scope, Tensile tester etc.)

Our Client is an established company in Singapore, who is seeking to recruit an Associate Engineer (Electrical and Electronics Engineering). The job location is at Tuas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain optical transmission, power and data communication network equipment for submarine cable systems and terrestrial backhaul transmission systems (e.g. SDH, DWDM, DC rectifier, Power Feed Equipment, routers/switches etc.).
• Monitor system performance and prepare statistical analysis to detect any performance degradation or abnormality.
• Perform installation acceptance testing and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
• Be on call after office hours to provide support for ad-hoc circuit activation, cable repair and fault isolation.
• Supervise the installation and upgrading of station facilities equipment and ensure that the project is implemented in the schedule timeline.
• Support cable system upgrade works which happen on a yearly basis.
• Responsible for coordination and liaison with relevant parties in provisioning of submarine cable circuits in accordance to the works-order provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of building, facilities, and security at all Company’s site.
• Coordinate and execute, when necessary, inspection, testing, general maintenance and repair of the critical site systems and equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment and other facilities are working properly.
• Critical systems and equipment include power/ UPS, backup generator and fuel supply. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), plumbing/ water supply, security doors/ alarms/ cameras, Fire safety systems and equipment.
• Provide situation/ status updates to the Facility Manager on issues which are to be resolved and the critical system or equipment is fully operational.
• Initiate interventions to solve problems in the facilities and develop a system for cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities.
• Deliver timely and efficient solutions to facility-related requests.
• Liaise with contractors on maintenance/ repair.
• Supervise contractor on-site.
• Review risk assessment submitted by contractor prior to commencement of work.
• Ensure required safety requirements are in place prior to commencement of work.
