• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS related incidents and problems according to customer processes

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for OS related service problems as part of problem management

• Liaise with support vendors for maintenance, support or issues resolution.

• Support Windows Server based systems, system software, clustering software and system management agents.

• Assist in analyzing historical usage for tracking and trending by CPU, memory, I/O and storage

• Assist in developing and maintaining the Technical Disaster Recovery Plan. Provide technical support during disaster

• Setting up and managing Windows Active Directory and Windows Clustering

• Setting up and managing VMWare hosts (inclusive of VCenters) and virtual machines including all OS platforms (Linux and windows)

• Setting up and managing Hyper-V and virtual machines, Netbackup and/or BackupExec, enterprise-wide Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

• Review event logs on a regular basis based on business requirements

• Manage the server OS patching procedure and security hardening

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/IT

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in Microsoft Windows Server

• Working experience of installation and operation of Windows Server operating systems, software and backup solutions.

• Familiarity in carrying out Deep level Windows server OS troubleshooting and problem resolution

• Familiarity with enterprise virus protection software, major systems monitoring software and its functionality.

• Detailed schedule planning and progress management based on the given outline plan.
• Providing feedback to the designer to further improve the defined process and procedure based on the experience during the actual site works.

System monitoring work

• Perform system monitoring work for 350 numbers of roadside systems at site.
• Manage error information that occurs on a daily basis and request investigation to the maintenance team.
• Management of list of malfunctioning devices and creation of repair reports for them. Withdraw replacement items needed for repairs and monitor the repair process.

Resource management work

• Plan the arrangement of resources necessary for the project, such as workers, vehicles, and tools, obtain approval from the cost controller, and submit orders to procurement department.
• Monitor the appropriateness of resource usage by managing worker attendance, managing vehicle inspection and maintenance records, and taking inventory of tools.

Requirements:

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

• Master / Bachelor degree or equivalent technical basic knowledge for electric or software engineering
• Work experience in design or quality control of industrial products such as electrical equipment/device/system (about 5 years)
