Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the manufacturing process, managing activities from the receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished parts.
• Develop and update work instructions using solid modelling, aligned with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Create designs for tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including organizing pre-production pilot runs and providing training for team members.
• Provide technical assistance to the Production team to meet technical and quality standards.
• Collaborate with OEMs on product requirements, process qualifications, and technology advancements.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to the company system
• Assist in the development of Request for Quote (RFQ) proposals and processes.
• Any ad-hoc duty as assigned.

Requirement

• Min degree in engineering
• Min 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing or Precision Engineering
• Proficient in programming using CAD/CAM and Experience with CNC machining
• Experience in heat treatment, welding, non-conventional machining.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and lead an agile team of 2-3 DevOps Engineers.
• Implement DevOps solutions/tools while overseeing systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee cloud service management, CI/CD tools, automation tools, deployment/monitoring/maintenance of applications, infrastructures and logs.

What You Should Have

Job Description

• Identify raw material on packing and understand the importance of first-in-firstout in quality assurance.
• Feed-in of raw material or recycle product by operating hoist safely.
• Perform in-process quality checks by timely collection of the appropriate samples and checking using QC lab equipment.
• Accurate data entry of all material movements / in process sample inspection results in hardcopy and digital production records.
• Ensure Technician’s work completion in accordance with all requirements that quality and output is met.
• Check and inspect production machinery or equipment.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and carry out basic repair timely.
• Operate forklift to retrieve raw material and stack product from and into the warehouse floor respectively.
• Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with Work Instruction (WI).
• In the event there are insufficient Technicians present to perform packing work, cover the shortfall in manpower. Where there is sufficient headcount for packing, Senior Technician will not be required to perform packing work.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the production area.
• Adhere to Safety procedure and regulations.

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent
