To carryout QA/QC for trackwork, electrical & signaling installation, testing and commissioning works allocated by QA/QC engineer for SPLRT Ph3 Project.
Assist QA/QC Engineer for trackwork, Electrical and Signalling site works
· Assist and Support QA/QC engineer in all aspects of works, including:
o Assist the QA/QC Site Engineer in conducting inspections and tests on trackwork, electrical equipment, materials, and installations.
o Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
o Attend pre-inspection meetings with sub-contractors and other stakeholders to understand specific quality control requirements and expectations.
o Monitor the installation and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
o Perform visual inspections of electrical work, including wiring, terminations, grounding, and labeling, to identify potential non-conformances.
o Conduct basic electrical tests using appropriate equipment, such as multimeter and insulation tester, to verify proper functionality and safety.
o Document and report non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies in electrical installations and equipment, recommending corrective actions and liaising with relevant personnel.
o Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformity reports using quality control software or manual forms.
o Assist with the preparation of quality control plans and procedures specific to electrical work for different project phases.
o Participate in quality control audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
o Perform other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Site Engineer or project manager.
· Communicating effectively with the electrical site supervisor, project manager, various stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), SBST, LTA.
Requirements
· Diploma or ITE in Electrical and Electronics
· Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience at complex project site.
· LRT/MRT E&M project experience is added advantage.
· Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
· Familiarity with quality control methodologies and documentation procedures.
· Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling
· Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals
· Strong commitment to the job
· Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.

· Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.
