What you'll do:

As a Level 2 Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our client's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support for Cisco products, working closely with network monitoring tools such as OpManager. What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Level 2 Network Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience in network operational and administration support, specifically with Cisco products. You will have strong knowledge of network routing and switching protocols and services, as well as experience with network monitoring tools such as OpManager. Your expertise in Cisco data center technologies, including Cisco Nexus environment, security firepower, ASA firewall, FortiGate firewall and Cisco ISE, will be highly valued. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in managing the existing network of distributors, aligning their activities with internal Business Unit metrics.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and participate in appointing/developing new distributors in untapped territories.
• Provide support to distributors in meeting the sales targets, contributing to the overall regional sales objectives.
• Collaborate closely with distributors to develop tailored strategies for each market and market segment.
• Regularly monitor distributor sales performance on a quarterly basis and offer constructive feedback to improve their performance.
• Assist channels in positioning our instruments effectively in the market relative to the competition.
• Stay updated on competitor activities and provide relevant insights to aid in decision-making.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science or Chemistry
• 1 to 2 years' experience in experience in plastic / chemicals industry / Trading business is advantage

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct in-depth design reviews and oversee the commissioning/Integrated Systems Testing (IST) processes for new data centre projects, as well as modifications and expansions to existing data centres

· Enhance and standardize data centre operation and maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance

· Perform comprehensive solution reviews and risk assessments for critical change management initiatives

· Lead data centre operation audits to maintain and improve operational excellence

· Offer technical support and expert guidance during major incidents to ensure rapid issue resolution

· Develop energy-efficient optimization solutions for data centre operations.

· Serve in a regional capacity, providing support for data centres located in Southeast Asia and India

Requirements:

· A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in data centre design, commissioning, or operations is required.

· A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or controls engineering is mandatory

· Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages is essential

· The position is based in Singapore, and occasional travel is required to fulfil job responsibilities.
