Permanent Facilities Engineer position

Salary: up to $5000

overseeing overall building maintenance and security operation for all Central Offices, includes conducting inspection, coordinating maintenance/ improvement programs and projects, compile data for reporting and forecasting future needs and costs

Responsibilities

MRO Operation Support

· Function as key engineering focal to provide technical advice on workscope management, repair dispositions, engineering repair quotes and technical support to Operations, Quality and Customers in meeting airworthiness and customer requirements.

· Support operations to perform repair assessment on nacelle components metallic and composite structures.

· Support communication with OEM on technical issues and component repair assessment.

· Prepare repair packages with detailed repair drawing, stress analysis and submission for airworthiness approvals.

· Perform basic design activities for tooling aid and assembly jig fixtures, coordination with vendor for fabrication and calibration.

· Support new repair capability development, system setup and airworthiness application.

· Support Quality reviews and investigations to enhance and improve engineering and operational processes.

· Identify, support, drive engineering and shop cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities.

· Develop and conduct Engineering, Component and Product training to Operations Team.

Continuous Improvement

· Identification of new digitalization and I4.0 opportunities for technology introduction and automation into MRO operation

· Design simple RPA, with user guide to implement the process automation applications

Requirements

Education & Experience

· Degree / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

· Fresh graduates are welcome. 3-7 years’ relevant experience is added advantage.

· Engineering trained, good team player, self-motivated, fast learner, good communication skill, and good authoring / literature composing.

· SMART Factory, Industry 4.0 experience & knowledge will be considered as added merits.

Skills

Job Description

• Using Microsoft technology stacks, i.e Azure services, SharePoint, Power Platform to develop custom applications to fulfil business needs.
• Involve in software delivery lifecycle (i.e., requirements elicitation, estimation/sizing, solution design, development, testing, deployment, post-production support).
• Apply / Setup DevOps best practices and techniques as part of software delivery.

The End User Computing (EUC) team in SIA provides IT services for all SIA Group employees in Singapore and Overseas. We are looking for an experienced professional with relevant experience to be part of the EUC team and play a significant role in modernizing our enterprise authentication system. This position also offers significant opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our security posture by enabling Multi factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise authentication system with a focus on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).

•Evaluate and assess various solutions available in the market and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) to determine the best fit for the organization.

•Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance and improve authentication mechanisms.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall security strategy.

•Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan to transition users to the new MFA solution.

•Implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition.

Responsibilities

MRO Operation Support

· Design and create tooling drawing to support MRO activities. Tooling includes assembly jigs, ground support equipment, shop tooling aids, machining fixtures, handling tools, etc.

· Create drawing and guidelines for tooling set-up and utilization.

· Liaise with internal and external machining facilities for tooling fabrication.

· Engage and coordinate with operation teams to ensure all MRO tools are well organized and good conditions. Ensure safe working practices.

· Trouble-shoot, provide engineering solutions and improvements for tooling technical problems.

· Support tooling periodical calibration for assembly jigs, load testing etc. Maintain and update calibration records.

· Support quality investigation, continuous improvement and innovation development.

Requirements

Education & Experience

· Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Design Engineering. OR

· Diploma holder with 4-6 years working experience in Manufacturing and/or Tooling Design will be considered.

Skills

· Knowledge in machining and rapid prototyping would be beneficial

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, geometric dimensioning, and tolerance.

· Ability to use various measurement instruments.

· Proficient in MS Office and CATIA V5 applications

· Use of laser trackers for tooling calibration is added advantage
