• Manage quality performance of manufacturing partners in Singapore or overseas. Ensure Quality Management System and processes are effectively in-place.
• Lead quality team at manufacturing partners, collaborate across functions and departments, to identify deviations and non-conformances, resolve quality issues, identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform regular process and system audits at manufacturing partners to validate quality performance.
• Supervise HP third party quality inspectors to effectively perform outgoing product and process audits.
• Lead in Influencing upstream quality improvements at part suppliers. Work closely with procurement team to address part quality issues and continuously improve quality at suppliers.
• Review and analyze field performance with Customer Assurance team, to drive continuous quality improvements.
• Actively participate in digital transformation of data analysis, quality processes and systems.
• Participate in designing engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
• Participate in knowledge transfers from global business unit which requires travel out of Singapore, to establish product test plans for quality and reliability performance assurance.
• Participate in developing reliable, cost effective, high quality and sustainable solutions for HP large format printers and accessories.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance.
• Eager to learn, connect, participate and contribute.
• Result-oriented, focused to deliver and exceed expectations.
• Attention to details, able to identify rooms for improvement and with desire to improve.
• Ability to apply quality control tools and methods to drive quality improvements. Meticulous in data collection, analysis and problems resolution.
• Ability to manage quality inspectors and technicians and manufacturing partners.
• With exposure to Quality Management System for manufacturing operations.
• Using analytical and statistical tools, to measure quality performance and perform failure analysis; apply empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
• Open to change and transformation to ensure quality systems and processes stay relevant and effective.
• Able to work independently, willing to collaborate, connect and partner to win.
• Open to overseas travel.
