Primary Role

Responsible for advanced Planning, designing, integrating, installation, rigging and lifting equipment, including management of contractors and vendors

What You Can Expect

In this (hybrid/remote/in-office) role in LOCATION, you’ll build transistor level circuits from scratch or be given existing blocks to improve or port. Using a variety of CAD tools, but primarily Cadence, you will build or improve your circuit, simulate different performance metrics and measure other parameters. You’ll do circuit analysis and if your circuit looks good, you’ll send it to layout for physical design. Once it’s created, you get it back, run simulations and tests, and continue iterating until the circuit performs precisely as you need it to. You’ll attend

weekly meetings with your team to discuss your projects at a high level. If any issues arise, the team may take a more focused look at the problem to work out a solution. You’ll also attend meetings with senior designers and managers to review your work at a detailed level. On this team, you’ll have the opportunity to see your designs go from an idea all the way through production and into use by other groups at Marvell.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role you must:

- Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and have 1-3 years of related professional

experience OR a Master’s Degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering.

- Your education must show further specialization into Analog Design.

- You must be willing to learn additional aspects of Analog Design from your peers and be willing to share your

knowledge with others as well.

This team collaborates a great deal.

- You must understand the fundamental theory behind circuit design.

- You must have some experience with CAD tools from school. If your school allowed you to use Cadence also,

that’s helpful but not required. You can learn that on the job.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong focus on tendering activities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, project management, and experience in preparing bids and managing tendering processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects and actively participating in the tendering process to secure new projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.

Tendering and Procurement:

• Prepare and review technical specifications, cost estimates, and proposals for mechanical engineering projects.
• Participate in the tendering process, including responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and invitations to tender (ITTs).
• Conduct market research and vendor evaluations to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including purchasing materials and equipment necessary for project execution.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to meet project requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to address project-related issues and foster collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Professional engineering license preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) in mechanical engineering project management, preferably in [HVAC and Cleanroom or semiconductor Engineering].
• Strong understanding of tendering processes, including bid preparation, contract negotiation, and procurement.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to project management.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Work with product team and business analysts to understand the requirement of products and features
• Design and develop back-end micro-services for our web and mobile applications
• Coordinate with them team to plan development sprints
• Provide a day to day status updates upon the work completed items to the reporting manager.
• Participate in technical design discussions and document all the necessary design decisions

What we expect from you:

• You should have at least 5 years of experience in back-end development, preferably using .NET Core.
• You should have amber knowledge on micro-service architecture, cloud services, containers and message queues.
• You should have good knowledge working with various types of databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB etc.
• You should have good knowledge on front-end web tech stacks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks etc.
