Position: Marine NavCom Service Engineer/Radio Surveyor

As GMDSS Radio Surveyor, you will be performing accurate radio survey onboard the vessel as per IMO Regulation for all GMDSS radio equipment.

• After carrying out the radio survey with no error, you are responsible to issue the certificate and checklist to Class Surveyor and Master.
• Provide advice on GMDSS equipment for safety navigation and conform to IMO, SOLAS and non-SOLAS rules when applicable.
• Prepare survey report or spectral analysis or site scan when applicable.
• Timely renewal of Class accreditations, and get new Class approval when required.

As a Marine Navigation and Communication Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services related to marine navigation and communication systems.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot marine navigation and communication equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and repair works on navigation and communication systems.
• Conduct inspections and testing of equipment to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding system operation and functionality.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in navigation and communication technology.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and all other stakeholders to complete the jobs.

Job Requirements:

• Completed an Electronics & Electrical engineering degree
• Possess a valid GOC or General Operators Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Radio Surveyor onboard the vessel
• Minimum 5 years of service experience troubleshooting ship navigation/communication equipment.
• Knowledgeable on all IMO regulations regarding Radio Survey requirements.
• Strong knowledge of various marine navigation systems, such as GPS, radar, AIS, and ECDIS

You are assisting the in-house IT Engineer in managing and resolving the day-to-day IT requests from employees. These tasks may include, but are not limited to the responsibilities as follow:

Responsibilities:

· Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

· Maintain and monitor the list of e-mail address in the company.

· Create login credential and the access rights to the new employees and deactivate all the access when employees leave the company.

· Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems are kept up to date.

· Providing technical support across the company, including repairing and replacing equipment when necessary.

· Manage and update IT infrastructure list for the whole company.

· Raise Purchase requisition by identifying and selecting the appropriate equipment that align with the requirements of management.

· Support overseas office user from remote connection.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by IT lead/Management.
