a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Mininum 2 - 5 years' experience working in construction industry

- Have experience with HDB projects

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DLP resident engineer with profound knowledge in leading DLP solutions such as Trellix, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian, Symantec, Skyhigh or Zscaler as well as database technologies like MSSQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and fine-tuning an advanced DLP solution for a large organization, and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation as well as manage an integrated reporting dashboard.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to create, review, and finalize DLP policies and rules
• Develop and maintain technical design documentation, configuration documents, and build guides
• Assess customer environment and validate pre-requisites prior to implementation
• Develop, configure, and test DLP policies and rules to ensure effectiveness and compliance
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and pilot testing phases to address any issues and validate success
• On-site support for issue troubleshooting
• Execution of change requests to remediate issues

Qualifications and Experience:

• To be able to demonstrate an expertise and deep understanding in your area of practice
• 1 year experience in information and cyber security or a similar role
• Implementation or management of cyber security solutions
• Experience with MSSQL administration and crafting/running SQL queries
• Experience with DLP technologies/other cybersecurity technologies a plus
• Experience with windows tools, administration and IIS a plus
• To be able to demonstrate soft skills to interact and engage customers and various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision on projects
• Able to work in a team
• Strong problem solving, oral and written communication skills
• A strong desire to step out of your comfort zone and into an opportunity where you drive the work

Preferred Credentials (optional):

• Relevant certifications in leading DLP solutions (e.g., Trellix, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian, Symantec)
• Industry certifications in information security, such as CISSP, or CCSP
• Familiarity with change management procedures a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Assist in designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and systems.

Support PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, layout, and testing.

Assist in developing prototypes and performing hardware debugging and troubleshooting.

Software Development & Embedded Systems:

Collaborate on developing embedded software for microprocessors and other embedded systems.

Assist in the integration of hardware and software components for electronic systems.

Support programming tasks using C, C++, or Python in embedded environments.

Testing & Evaluation:

Assist with hardware and software testing, verification, and validation of electronic devices.

Document test results and work with engineers to identify areas for improvement.

Research & Development:

Contribute to the research of new technologies and innovations in electronics and computer engineering.

Support the team in evaluating new components, tools, and methodologies.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Collaborate closely with engineers, software developers, and product teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal review.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s or degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, digital systems, and embedded systems.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

Basic understanding of microprocessors, and FPGA-based systems is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with hardware/software co-design and integration.

Familiarity with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.

Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).

Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in embedded systems (a plus).

About the role

You will be part of a cross-functional agile engineering team (squad) responsible to build, deploy and run (support) one or more of our digital products, focusing on full-stack experience to build robust & resilient systems (front-end & back-end).

You will work closely with Engineers, Product, Design, and other stakeholders, collaboratively ensuring quality gets built in the product, get to see your impact in everyday lives of many people, and have great fun while doing it.

You will share your learnings within and beyond your team (squad) and mentor budding engineers for good engineering practices

• Working with engineering+product owners to design, refine and develop the product, from concept to implementation.

What you need to have

• You have at least 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications
• Good written and spoken English
• Hands on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives (Typescript, NodeJS, Scala, Kotlin, Springboot, etc)
• Have hands on experience on one of this front-end development (Flutter Preferred)
• Experience to Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery for both Mobile & Back-end)
• Experience working in Agile Software development
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across distributed teams in a multicultural environment.
• You’re excited about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs that glue them together
