Your Job

As a Test Engineer, your primary purpose is to drive quality, yield, and productivity improvements. You will manage the new product release to manufacturing and address any problems affecting the smooth operation of parts. You are responsible for all testing activities related to the transfer of new testers from the design center to the manufacturing plant, including working with the design team to qualify new test systems and propose test limits. Your role also involves sourcing and assembling tester components locally, setting up, and debugging test software and hardware.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with design engineers and architects to create and document detailed test plans for verifying the SoC design.
• Establish and manage the infrastructure and environment for automated verification of the SoC's architecture, functionality, and performance.
• Develop reusable testbenches, test cases using constrained-random and directed methods, and verification modules for both block and system levels.
• Create a regression strategy, methodology, and scripting tools, ensuring comprehensive function coverage and addressing verification gaps before design releases and tape-out.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve simulation issues.
• Provide support to test engineers during post-silicon validation.
• Mentor and guide team members and junior engineers, aiming to enhance verification efficiency.​

Requirements:

• Master in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8 years of relevant working experience/ PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years working experience.
• Extensive understanding of UVM/OVM, Semiformal Verification, assertion-based verification, and hardware-software co-verification methodology.
• Skilled in Verilog, SystemVerilog, Python, Perl, TCL, Shell scripting, C/C++, SystemC, and assembly coding for industry-standard ISAs.
• Familiar with MIPI, AMBA (APB/AHB/AXI) bus protocols, RISC-V/ARM, or DSP cores.
• Experience in verifying designs at RTL and post-P&R gate levels.

About The Role

Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking a Product Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the industry. As a Product Engineer, you will join a team of specialised engineers to design, verify, test, and operationalise our System-on-Module (SoM) products by using high-performance Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) SoC devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product development team, and be involved in the FPGA product development lifecycle including system design, IP development, testing, application-use case, and production
• Contribute to the full design methodology (from front-end to back-end) based on FPGA, including the design of customized circuits/Intellectual Properties (IPs)/systems and the configuration/programming of macro-IPs (e.g, ARM cores, and communication interfaces) within FPGA cores
• Create and review the test programs to support and validate the FPGA product development
• Support the FPGA design upgrade
• Maintain and provide good documentation for the FPGA product development
• Any other duties assigned

Key Requirements

• Degree holder (Electrical/Electronics/Computer) with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in FPGA hardware such as Xilinx or Altera
• Good knowledge of Verilog register-transfer-logic design and hardware functional verification concepts/test methodology is desirable.

Job Descriptions

• Schedule maintenance activities for chillers systems, keeping track of maintenance works with follow up actions for chillers.
• Ensure all maintenance works are carried out according to prescribed checklist and schedule
• Responsible for testing & commissioning/ fine tuning of new chiller with minimal guidance, such as coordinate project execution at site, witness FAT and conduct SAT to ensure the chiller operating conditions according to target performance.
• Ability to interpret as-built documents, schematic drawings, technical documents as well as analyze operating data from chillers and know how to identify and repair any issues that arise.
• Responsible for on-site management of the chiller overhaul/ repair works and supervise subcontractor work; effectively control the service quality and progress.
• Preparation of service report for each service assignment.
• Assuage dissatisfied customers on service issues such as provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems on chiller and recommend preventive measures.
• Preparation of risk assessments prior and ensure safety procedures and conduct during service and repairs.
• To ensure all works carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum ITE Certificate with Merit in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant chiller experiences.
• Preferably Singaporean or SPR
• Able to guide and troubleshoot HVAC faults especially modular screw chillers, centrifugal chillers and absorption chillers.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written as well as preparing service reports.
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior.
