RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for equipment benchmarking, technical strategies, and technical roadmaps at Solar Cell manufacturing tools.

• Provide technical expertise and recommend technical solutions to the development and design of equipment to maximize overall equipment effectivenLess.

• Harmonize and standardize manufacturing equipment and solutions across all sites worldwide.

• Strong coordination and communication network with both local and overseas manufacturing sites

• Partner with suppliers and subcontractors on new equipment projects, commissioning, Qualification, and installation, according to the planned schedule to add capacity on time

• Identifying and pursuing potential opportunities for hardware capability enhancement, and driving defect reduction.

• Relevant bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Electronic Engineering/ Automation Engineering and/or equivalent.

• More than 4 years experience in Equipment Engineering.

• A team player who can multitask and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Good experience in problem-solving techniques, methodologies, and project management are a plus.

• Able to work in a clean room environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses, and gloves(PPEs). Spend significant amount of time on the factory floor working on the tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint/ Excel/ Word) & AutoCAD applications.

• Oversea traveling may required.

• Required Skill(s): Understand drawing, Quantity take off, Prepare BQ, Familiar with costing, Supplier sourcing, Contract administration.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering-Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Familar with structural steelworks.
• Other QS duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Descriptions:

• Carry out rectification and troubleshooting of plant and auxiliary equipment as assigned.
• Carry out routine checks and testing of plant equipment based on job requests in accordance with good maintenance practice.
• Do hands on planned maintenance such as but not limited to greasing and cleaning of equipment and machinery.
• Record details of maintenance and repairs works carried out.
• Maintain proper housekeeping as well as tidiness of the workplace.
• Manage documentation such as work procedures accordingly to plant standard SOPs and quality standard.
• To adhere strictly to all EHS rules and regulations imposed by the plant.
• Any ad-hoc tasks and duties assigned by supervisor / plant management.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or higher .
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in operation or manufacturing environment
• Good hands on experiences in rotation equipment repair such as pumps & agitators is an advantage
• Have initiative, good communication skills and able to take responsibility.
• Working knowledge of the principles and mechanics of plant equipment is essential
• Possess a basic welding skill will be an added advantages
