POSITION OVERVIEW: Oracle HR Support Engineer (1-Year Contract - 12 Days Annual Leave)

As an Oracle HR Support Engineer, your responsibilities include the technical upkeep and support of the Oracle Human Resources Management System (HRMS). You will provide ongoing support for essential applications such as Core HR, Self Service HR, Leave Management, Talent Management, Compensation Modules, and other ERP financial modules. Your duties involve ensuring system availability, optimizing application performance, and contributing expertise to business requirement assessments. Additionally, you'll review technical and functional solutions, address queries from various business units, and provide regular updates on production status and issue resolutions.

Moreover, you'll support diverse jurisdictions spanning SG, MY, CN, and international locations, actively participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises, and offer on-call assistance as required, including weekends and after-hours. Your role emphasizes a commitment to quality and proactive measures to achieve error-free operations. You'll also play a pivotal role in supporting system deployments and upgrades across different environments.

Skillset:

• Proficiency in Oracle EBS Core HR, Self Service HR, Absence Management, Approval Management Engine, Talent Management, and Compensation Modules.
• Strong command of Unix/Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, WebLogic, Java J2EE, and Oracle SSO.
• Expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience supporting software/platform/database upgrades.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating system deployments across various testing and production environments, encompassing SIT, UAT, PROD, and DR, with a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies.

What’s the role?

We are looking for an experienced buy-side specialist to focus on the pre-sales process, supporting sales teams across the entire buy-side enterprise. The Pre-sales Engineer is a critical member of the APAC team responsible for engaging with potential customers and key decision makers to understand their business objectives and requirements in order to deliver customized pre-sales presentations and product demonstrations.

We’ll trust you to:

• Lead discovery engagement meetings to define current gaps and pain points in order to address these through targeted demos
• Lead product demonstrations, including setting up and maintaining relevant demo portfolios and templates for example report outputs
• Work collaboratively with product managers to communicate product gaps, industry trends, competitive insights
• Assist in the development of RFP responses and drive to close new opportunities
• Provide hands-on support for trials/POCs including documenting the trial scope, length, and success criteria, and where applicable, reconciling analytics between PORT and the incumbent system
• Partner with Implementation, Solutions Architect, and PMO on solutions design and Target Operating Model for our larger more complex engagements
• Ensure detailed information transfer from the sales process to the implementation team

You’ll need to have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a client facing role working with a Portfolio and Risk Analytics solution
• Experience working with attribution and risk models gained within the past 5 years
• Experience executing project-based work
• Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to prospects
• Critical thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solution-focused attitude
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
• Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent qualifications

Key responsibilities & duties:

• Provide support to the Dynamic Positioning business lines in the region and globally, contributing to related projects using professional experience and basic principles.

Responsibilities

- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of Ads systems — from system design consulting through to launch reviews, deployment, operation and refinement.

About the role

As a Solution Engineer, you will help to partner with different business verticals and enable the full potential of new features, products, and business opportunities. - Responsible for the development of ads delivery and ranking systems for the global market.
