As a Director of Engineering, you will be required to:

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Research, optimization and implementation of privacy-enhancing technologies, including but not limited to MPC, PSI, ZKP, FL, DP, HE and PKC.
• Apply privacy-enhancing technologies to practical scenarios and working on challenges encountered during implementation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers and product managers to design, develop, and deploy PETs products and services.

Job Description

• Provide daily and strategic engineering oversight to the Mechanical and Operations team in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Interfaces with Facilities supervisors and managers to resolve operational problems.

About the Role:

The Data Center Engineer will oversee the optimal performance and maintenance of Data Center and ELV operations, including network cabling, IT hardware installation, and environmental monitoring. Your role includes managing Data Center infrastructure, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with service standards and agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Perform facilities management related tasks in relation to the Data Center and/or Extra-Low Voltage (“ELV”) operations, including but not limited to structured network cabling, cable tracing, patching of cable and rack management, infrastructure and Data Center capacity planning.

· Responsible for the design and installation of structured network cabling, cable tracing, patching of cables and rack management in respect of infrastructure cabling used by the surveillance network.

· Responsible for the installation, removal, testing and labeling of all cross-connect cables (for e.g., cat6 cables, coax cables and fiber cables etc.).

· Responsible for the installation, re-location and removal of cabinets, racks, devices and other IT equipment inside the Data Center and ELV rooms.

· Responsible for the installation of IT hardware, including network switches, servers, shelves, intelligent Power Distribution Units (“iPDU”), rails, cable management and other IT equipment in the Data Center and ELV rooms.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the Data Center and ELV rooms.

· Liaise with the Facilities, Security and Surveillance teams to ensure optimal operation of electricity, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and monitoring environments within the Data Center and ELV rooms.

· Responsible for the configuration and management of Data Center equipment, including IP Kernel based Virtual Machine, iPDU and Data Center Infrastructure Management (“DCIM”) software.

· Maintain and update DCIM software to the latest version.

· Monitor and manage the physical health of the network and server environments.

· Follow established processes used by the Data Center operations (“DCO”) team, participate in regular process review and maintain service standards as defined in the relevant Operational Level Agreements/ Service Level Agreements.

· Respond to priority 1, 2 and 3 incidents following the standard incident response procedures and assist with the resolution of such incidents.

· Manage and handle ticket management and queue monitoring (i.e. incident, service and change requests) for network and systems queues.

· Providing project support, including but not limited to updating timesheets, and updating and maintaining DCO team documentation.

The Software Quality Engineer shall have at least a Diploma in Computer Studies, or related discipline, and completed at least one (1) project using Scrum or equivalent as the Agile software development framework, and three (3) years’ experience as a software tester in the Software Platform involved in the project.
ii. Software Quality Engineers who are Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and above would be advantageous.

Our Client in the Government sector is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Service and Compliance Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating security and compliance solutions for enterprise applications and databases in data centers and cloud services, ensuring adherence to IT policies.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and hands-on implementation in the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of logs, patch, vulnerability, and configuration management, utilizing enterprise platforms and technologies.
• Conduct annual IT compliance reviews, covering IT policies, localized IT security-related policies, IT processes, and technical reviews of critical systems and infrastructure.
• Review IT findings/issues from compliance reviews, assess the overall state of IT services, and develop mitigation plans to address gaps and enhance ICT governance and risk management.
• Plan and conduct regular internal control and compliance reviews as per stipulated frequencies based on corporate IT security policies.
• Review and explore market policies and practices, introducing best practices to strengthen IT risk management and compliance within the company.
• Communicate common IT issues and findings to stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• At least two (2) years of experience in one or more security and compliance technologies and products, such as vulnerability assessment or logs management.
• Product certification in one or more of the industry toolset and platform is advantageous
• Familiarity with IT compliance standards in a variety of technical environments, including Windows and Linux, is advantageous
• Experience in IT audit is advantageous.
• Familiarity with IM8 or equivalent ICT policies is advantageous
