• Plan, design and support Technology Refresh and migration activities for the infrastructure services.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• To provide Maintenance and Operation Support for Data Center Common Infra Structure
• Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.
• Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.
• Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.
• Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
• Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in AWS services, Databricks, and/or Informatica IDMC.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for building data pipelines.
• Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations to resolve data issues especially on performance assessment for complex data transformations and long running data processes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Support Engineer will be responsible for support applications relative to Payment industry, Cards, ATM & POS Terminal and transaction processing protocols i.e. ISO 8583, fixed length message formats .

As a Support Engineer, you can look forward to:

Supporting card transactions for Visa, MC, AMEX, DISC.
Analyzing transaction failures and make recommendations to improve application reliability and quality, support processes, practices and procedures.
Making strong technical decisions and complete tasks & assignments under limited supervision.
Recognizing problems that need further investigations, seeking assistance when needed, and demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
Ensuring documentation of production incidents and collaborate with different support and development teams and resolve issues.
Assisting the team in devising new support processes and ensure their implementation as per company policy.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years experience working within Banking Payment industry domain, Cards, ATM & POS Terminal and transaction as a production support engineer.
Knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes
Knowledge database concepts and MS Office.
Must have good communication (written and verbal) skills.
Experience leveraging monitoring tools (Splunk, DataDog, DynaTrace, New Relic, Catchpoint)
Prior Enterprise Java Application support experience
Some Enterprise Java Application Development experience.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) experience would be a plus to compliment the card industry experience
• Shell scripting, Putty, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
