Job Description:

The incumbent is responsible for laboratory/site testing of soil samples and producing soil testing reports for

the clients so as to support the achievement of sales revenue and PBT targets.

Laboratory Works

• Plan the soil testing activities according to client requirements/assignments:

- Interpret and verify the client’s assignments (e.g., types of tests, timeframe, etc)

- Schedule the testing programmes according to priority

- Delegate manpower to complete the testing tasks

• Execute the soil testing works to determine the physical and mechanical of the soil samples:

- Supervise the technicians to prepare the correct samples for soil testing (e.g., check the assignment and UD soil samples)

- Carry out extrusion of the soil samples

- Liaise with clients for samples that are unable to meet their requirements for their decision-making

- Carry out the soil tests according to BS standards or standards specified by client

• Produce soil testing report for the clients:

- Collate and record data from testing equipment

- Generate and check accuracy of the reports for signatory

- Submit the approved soil testing reports to clients

Site Works

• Plan the soil testing activities on site according to client requirements:

- Verify with client on the soil testing locations (e.g., types of tests, timeframe, etc)

- Schedule the testing programmes and equipment including resources allocation to fulfil clients requirements

- Arrange to maintain the testing equipment fitness-for-use

- Delegate manpower to complete the testing tasks

• Coordinate the execution of soil testing works to determine the soil settlement and field density:

- Prepare and brief technicians the soil testing works to be carried

- Carry out soil testing according to plan and BS standards or standards specified by client

- Collect site testing data sheet for report preparation

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Weld, setup, assemble parts and producing parts as per drawing specification.
2. Guiding and providing operator with basic instruction in performing the weld process.
3. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
4. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
5. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Duties/Requirements:

Operate and perform stages of chemical manufacturing activities, forklift and stacker activities in accordance to work instructions and safety standards.

Assist Production Supervisor in troubleshooting of quality and process problems.

Batch processing and partial manual work environment. Need to carry materials of around 20kg.

Be trained to be part of the Emergency Response Team and take appropriate actions in the event of emergencies.

NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Mechanical Engineering.

Working experience in chemical plant environment is preferred.

Experience in Distributed Control System (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is an added advantage.

Performs Coordination supervisory

responsibilities for managing all aspects of

the construction, installation,maintenance,

and repair of electrical power lines,

electricalsystems, fixtures, apparatus, and

appliances.

This individual is responsible for planning,

scheduling, assigning, participating in,and

inspecting the wor k of power

linesmen,electricians, and trades helpers.

The employee also has responsibility for

supervising the operation of an

electricalrepair shop. Wor k includes the

design and construction of special

electrical apparatus and fixtures and the

preparation of specifications and

estimates for construction, repair, and

installation projects. Large scale and

complex j obs are normally inspected upon

completion for conformance with

specifications; smaller j obs are checked

for satisfactory operation by the users of

the

equipment. Wor k is performed under

general direction of an administrative

superior and is

reviewed through discussions and

inspection of completed work.

Job Reponsibilities

• Dedicated Engineering support for new energy Projects which includes pre-FEED, FEED works in Singapore.
• Continual Engineering and Project Management support by ensuring proper integration of Engineering designs during project execution, testing and commissioning phase.
• Review and verify consultant and contractor’s proposed design according to international industrial and in-house technical standards and requirement including compliance with statutory codes and corporate guidelines.
• Work closely with various internal stakeholders (subject matter experts, process safety, operations, etc) and external stakeholders (customers, contractors, consultants, vendors and suppliers, authorities).
• Review and evaluate engineering documents, consultant and vendor’s drawing and specifications, evaluate and manage costs as well as a schedule of tasks, processes and quality.
• Be a part of the team towards preparation of feasibility and conceptual studies, FEED works, permits, QRA, basic and detailed engineering, evaluate vendor / contractors’ offer.
• Participate in HAZOP review and other engineering studies.
• Participate in both internal and external meetings to facilitate Engineering concern.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering from a reputable university with Oil & Gas background – ideally with topsides FPSO/FPU experience.
• 12-18 years related experience in design and Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards is expected.
• Good understanding of terminal business and its drivers covering the technical, operational and HSSE point of view
• Proficiency with Microsoft office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project)
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS, Honeywell UniSim, etc.)
• Other computer skills (SAP, AutoCAD) are a plus.
• Prior project management experience is a plus.
• Highly motivated and independent individual who can work under pressure, integrate and participate well in a diversified team environment, problem solving abilities, attention to details, analytical, able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines, positive attitude.

   5. Price consolidation for presentation to internal and external when required.
6. Budget, plan, implementation, execution and control of operation and capital expenditure
7. Project development and solution plan for infrastructure design, ASRS, and other solution
8. Implement solution for intralogistics planning.
9. Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and policies to reduce cost through automation planning and execution for new and current development.
10. Encourage the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources within an organisation for environment, sustainable, governance.
11. Develop solutions with carbon management and reduction.
12. Liaise and negotiate with contractors, the building supplies industry, council services and other relevant organisations.
13. Benchmark Logistics automation & ASRS against best practice guidelines.
14. Any other task assigned by Senior Management.
