Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full set of accounts for two (2) outlets. Moving forward, any expansion of more outlets will be under your purview as well. Appropriate manpower resources proportional to workload will be allocated accordingly as well.
• Support overall accounting functions which include preparation of finance and management reports, and costing.
• Reports, fixed assets register, bank/account payable/ accounts receivable/inventory reconciliations, stock and inventory recording and taxation matters.
• Manage all local regulatory and taxation compliance matters including tax computations, tax return submission, and tax payments/refunds, including GST and other tax matters.
• Responsible for payroll processing including liaising with payroll providers, preparing payroll, provision preparation for salary and benefit incentives, employee tax returns and HR filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as MOM, CPF, IRAS AND ACRA.
• Support in HR functions including but not limited to processing payroll, managing employee leaves, medical and claim matters work pass applications.
• IT integration between restaurants, warehousing and offices.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the director.

My client is a well-established European manufacturing MNC with offices around the globe. They are hiring a Finance Executive for their Singapore office.


Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will managing AP, AR functions, journal entries, responsible for month/year-end closing, claim processing, monitoring cash flow, preparation of bank reconcialiation and GST reporting. You will also be helping out with office adminstrative work and providing administrative support when needed (10%).


Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, and self-motivated
• Familiar with ERP (Oracle preferred) and MS Excel

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1) Performance Management – Achieve operational goals and key performance indicators that are aligned to the organisation’s overall strategic objectives.

2) Operation Management – Process claims to ensure make-up pay payments are timely and accurate and in accordance with stipulated policies and guidelines.

3) Customer Service – Execute the customer service support initiatives to deliver a highly professional standard of service to customers.

4) Claims Consultancy – Provide guidance to the claimants on complex claims & deviation cases regularly to ensure consistency, fairness and prudence in decisions made.
