Requirements

· ACCA/ Degree qualified with experience in monthly & quarterly reporting, budgeting, and supporting statutory audit and tax requirements.

· Retail/FMCG or related industryexposure will be highly advantageous

· Availability to start work at short notice / maximum 1 month notice will be preferred

Job Scope
Reporting to the Finance Manager and as an individual contributor, you will be responsible in handling reporting requirements, including preparation of financial reporting packages for monthly and quarterly reporting, supporting FP&A colleague in budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidation, and assisting statutory audit and tax requirements. You will ensure compliance to statutory and company policies, as well as continually explore ways to streamline and improve processes.

Purpose of the Job

Responsible for preparing robust credit applications for Corporates across a variety of industries in country and across the region. Also, support in monitoring the department/Branch credit portfolio including but not limited to borrower ratings, credit due date control and collaterals to identify any credit risks to the department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG
• Work in partnership with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for our customers.
• Work in partnership with Relationship Managers in the country to support the team in resolving any complex credit processes or credit operational issues
• Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Credit department in other Branches to support transactions booked in other Branches balance sheet
• Work in partnership with Credit Division to resolve any complex credit application issues and share various credit reports prepared by the team
• Support the Team Lead
• Collect relevant information from relationship managers and prepare credit applications for approvals, ensuring that thorough analysis has been performed including analysis of cash flow projections.
• Review borrower ratings in accordance to MUFG’s guidelines and policies.
• Monitor due date controls to support the credit facility renewal and ensure that covenant checks are completed in a timely manner.
• Prepare reports to monitor submission of documents on covenants checks to ensure that credit applications are appropriately supported.
• Support in updating local credit policies to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
• Support the delivery of timely process improvement initiatives for the department.
• Support in assessing the health of department’s credit portfolio, including but not limited to borrower rating and collaterals control
• Support in internal and external audits by coordinating activities for the department.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
• Participate in relevant committees in the region

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified

• Minimum 4 years of corporate and FI experience within the banking industry/accounting firm (AVP)
• Basic accounting knowledge
