Roles and Responsibilities
Finance/Accounts
· Lead a small team and be responsible for overseeing statutory and management reporting, taxation, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, accounts payables, accounts receivables.
· Ensure statutory & management reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial reporting standards and taxation laws.
· Prepare consolidated management reports and financial statements.
· Assist in year-end statutory audit – preparation of annual reports and documents required for audit purposes
· Assist in the preparation of slides and analysis for the update to senior management
· Responsible for taxation matters including filing withholding tax, filing GST, reviewing corporate income tax prepared by tax agent, and handling tax queries from IRAS
· Responsible for treasury matters including operational cash flow management
· Responsible for compliance with internal control policies and procedures and to formulate robust financial controls framework through regular review, updating and maintenance of financial policies and procedures
· Any other duties, such as but not limited to any projects, new system implementations, etc, as and when assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- A good, recognized degree in accountancy or ACCA or ISCA/CA qualification
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years of experience in leading a team
- Audit experience will be an advantage
- Experience in the healthcare industry would be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player; good communication and relationship skills with ability to build relationships across business units and across other divisions
- Able to provide guidance and motivate team members to work together to meet deadlines and key deliverables.
