We are a prominent single-family office, seeking an Senior Investment Operations Analyst to join our team in Singapore to manage a diversified multi asset investment portfolio for the family.  We are looking for an experienced individual to support the team in the administration of funds, performance reporting and wider operational support. 

The Role

Our team is small, so you will need to be flexible, pragmatic and solutions oriented.  You will be responsible for investment administration, specifically investment performance reporting, investment execution and custodian management.  Main responsibilities include:

Investment Performance Reporting

·         Prepare standard monthly performance reports including collation of external investment manager reports and valuation statements.

·         Prepare quarterly performance reports, updating IRRs and multiples for illiquid funds.

·         Reconcile performance reports to custodian statements and management accounts.

·         Collate capital call/distribution notices and update illiquid funds records.  Reconcile outstanding commitments and capital call amounts to the actual notices.

·         Prepare monthly reconciliation of cash flows to investment movements.

·         Prepare ad-hoc performance analyses including asset class attribution and external benchmark comparisons.

·        Use of Bloomberg to acquire market or index data.

Investment Execution

·         Oversee the full trade life cycle and ensure the team is aligned for authorizations.

·         Follow through on investment decisions ensuring accurate and timely execution by brokers and custodians.

·         Coordinate investment execution, eg completing subscription forms, compiling KYC documentation and obtaining director signatures.

·         Liaise with the custodian to instruct investment subscription and ensure cash settlement.

·         Collate and review contract notes received directly from fund’s administrator and/or the custodian.

·        Manage transactions during the life of an investment, eg capital calls.

Custodian Management

·         Liaise with the custodian to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data on investments, including valuations, for group financial reporting.

·         Review data input in the custodian’s custody/reporting system.

·        Reconcile fees charged by the custodian.

General

·         Drive management of large BAU items such as reporting and taking ownership of delivery timelines.

·         Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring and training of juniors.

·         Take initiative to lead and drive projects, improving operational efficiency and investment reporting.

·         Liaise with members of the CFO team, auditors and administrators for the year end audit.

·         Liaise with Head of Internal Audit and external auditors to support internal audit of investment activities.

Qualifications/Experience

·         Strong academic background with demonstrated analytical capabilities, detail orientated and excellent written and oral communication skills. These capabilities will be tested during the recruitment process.

·         Strong candidates will be undertaking or have completed further professional studies (for example CISI IOC).

·         Advanced excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·         Experience with Solovis would be helpful, but is not essential.

·        Experience of private markets would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Reporting to the Regional FPSO Manager, we are looking for an FPSO Analyst to drive business transformations by developing and improving core business processes/structures and facilitating the implementation of new systems/processes/requirements with minimal business impact.  Your objectives will be to ensure that the systems meet business requirements, controls, and compliance; that users are trained and use the system correctly; and that support is delivered in a pro-active and efficient manner. Main Responsibilities:

Act as a Regional Finance Coordinator on system/project roll outs:

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the Business Unit Managers and support groups to provide the necessary guidelines, strategies, plans, processes and controls in the region and divisional brand P&Ls.

Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting/Forecasting & Variance Analysis

Role Overview

A real-time analyst/editorial role reporting to the Head of Credit, Asia, producing insightful content to tight deadlines that showcases IGM’s new issue data. IGM’s credit market coverage focuses on the primary syndicated bond market, tracking new issues individually and in aggregate, while seeking to present value added intelligence which builds upon what is available via other channels. Market analysis of this level requires development and maintenance of a mutually beneficial contact base with industry practitioners at all levels.  The role also requires a deep understanding of financial markets with an emphasis on fixed income credit, and an appetite to seek ways to add colour and context for subscribers and data users alike.

The role holder will need to be, or quickly become, comfortable with the calculation and verification of various relative value measures, as well as the authoring of well-structured, authoritative daily reports which consistently showcase the engagement of IGM with the industry that our products and services address.
