JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will work together with the Singapore Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the Singapore business by managing the day-to-day finance operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial planning needs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    
•    Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially-focused Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Planning for Singapore, in line with agreed templates and timetables

1. PO Management

• To create Purchase Requisition / Purchase Orders OPEX and CAPEX over the whole PCD TR APAC scope: through MyRequest for LFCS, Hainan Esker for Hainan entity and Macau Esker for our Macau Four Season Boutique concept.
• To make sure the internal validation rules are well applied before PO creation.
• To make sure the PO amounts are aligned with the latest commitments (VM expenses file, CAPEX file) else apply the proper internal validation.
• To validate invoice via Webcycle for the PR/PO created in SAP.
• To perform MIGO / PO reception over the PO scope mentioned above.

1. Recharge management

• To coordinate the reception of the monthly recharge through the whole APAC region and to make sure those are booked on a timely manner, within the month in question.

• Ad hoc analysis and project follow up

The position is responsible to provide transitionary / project support to the Singapore Corporate Accounting Team.

Successful candidate will be placed under a 6-month contract through our dedicated recruitment agency.

Responsibility

Projects / General Ledger / Statutory / Reporting

• Support finance project implementation (Concur, inforSUN)
• Support GST ACAP review
• Support monthly closing and reporting submissions on OneStream
• Support team members on monthly closing activities
• Support interco entries and confirmations

Payments and accounting duties

• Support payment disbursements
• Carry out any other accounting related duties as assigned by Senior Manager and Director of Finance.

• Strong partnership with the reporting finance team on the full spectrum of financial planning and analysis.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, annual financial close and related management reports with high accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and submit information for consolidation during the monthly reporting, forecasting & budgeting cycles coupled with analytical review of variances.
• Manage internal reporting requirements on various basis.
• Involved in developing process improvements and system implementation

Summary

This position is responsible for the entire credit granting process, bill collection, including the consistent application of a credit policy. Conducts periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the credit worthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.

Job Responsibilities

Credit applications:

· Process credit applications within 10 working days, ensuring that clients are notified promptly and professionally. The credit worthiness of all applicants is formally checked and approval must be received from the Director of Finance.

· Review the credit worthiness of all existing non-Accor approved clients on a yearly basis.

City Ledger:

· Ensure all invoices / statements are issued on a timely basis.

· Monitor the prompt follow-up of all overdue accounts and minimize the recovery delay.

· Monitors the special billing arrangements for groups and conventions as required to ensure that postings are in line with customer requirements.

· Monitor and pursue collection of overdue accounts.

· Review city ledger daily for correct postings of charges and take corrective action where necessary.

· Review bad debts listing monthly to prepare collectability analysis for monthly provision for doubtful debts.

· Respond to and resolve account queries in conjunction with accounts receivable.

· Review provision, write-offs and other adjustments immediately prior to month end.

· Implement effective inquiry response procedure for guests and management.

· Ensure all travel agent commissions are timely processed and paid.

· Report on monthly accounts receivable ageing analysis and detailed accounts’ ledgers.

· Conduct credit meetings at least once a month, with relevant highlighting monthly performance, bad debts, staff accounts outstanding and discuss any accounts causing concern and follow up.

· Attend Credit Managers meetings to keep up to date knowledge of credit risks.

· Appropriately manage all delinquent accounts, liaising with debt collectors where needed.

· Review and recommend accounts to be written off, providing appropriate documentation.

Guest Ledger and liaison with Front Office:

· Liaise between the Finance Department and the Front Office.

· Ensure PX and PM accounts are checked on daily basis and transferred to city ledger within 48hrs from the departure date.

· Review the Advance Deposit ledger to ensure all the balances are either current or for future date.

· Inform the Front Office Manager of any deviations from policy by Duty Managers, or Front Office Agents that may come to his/ her attention.

· Ensure guest refunds are processed in a timely manner as per the hotel policy; with all supporting paperwork and required authorizations.

Commercial Responsibilities

· To keep closed contact with hotel debtors i.e. Travel Agents, Airlines, Corporate clients and Individuals.

Reporting to the Regional FPSO Manager, we are looking for an FPSO Analyst to drive business transformations by developing and improving core business processes/structures and facilitating the implementation of new systems/processes/requirements with minimal business impact.  Your objectives will be to ensure that the systems meet business requirements, controls, and compliance; that users are trained and use the system correctly; and that support is delivered in a pro-active and efficient manner. You will work as part of the Regional FPSO Team, interacting closely with the regional functional teams, regional management and the Global FPSO team.

Main Responsibilities:

Act as a Regional Finance Coordinator on system/project roll outs:

• Be a central point of contact to coordinate, engage key Finance members, organize meetings, and facilitate discussions
• Participate in finance system/project implementations end-to-end and work closely and efficiently with cross-functional Global/Regional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
• Articulate business requirements, evaluate business process, and provide support on documentation
• Co-lead change management, highlight blocking issues and ensure prompt resolution
• Monitor projects and co-present project status and metrics to regional management and stakeholders
• Pro-actively communicate any system implementation changes (before and after) to Finance users to mitigate any downstream impact to business operations

Support country deployments of front and back-office applications:

• Translate local requirements, identify gaps, align, and integrate into global applications end-to-end following core/group global standard model
• Validate approach on system testing, and develop jointly with team members on detailed test plan

Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Systems & Finance Processes

• Be a functional expert in business systems/processes and have a good understanding on interconnected systems workflow
• Collaborate with business and discover new opportunities for Power BI, RPA or related automations development.
• Actively participate with operational teams to define system/operational requirements for new business requirements/initiatives/acquisitions
• Facilitate the review of front and back-office business systems/processes tickets
• Optimize, improve, and streamline business process, ensure proper control, and process compliance

User support & training

• Engage with key users and arrange training for them
• Bring any useful updates/training feedback for functional evaluation

Post implementation monitoring / Performance monitoring

• Monitor projects KPIs and track deliverables are met

Experiences:

• At least 3-5 years of strong operational experience in project management and finance processes/systems implementations
• Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity is preferred

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc):

• Project Management skills and good knowledge of key finance processes and best practices
• Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing), systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, trading systems, payment system (FIS TRAX) and Cash Management system (Quantum) would be a plus
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders
• Proactive and driven to support Finance users
• Independent and display positive attitude towards problem solving
• Ability to multi-task and handle ambiguity in a high-pressure atmosphere.  Flexibility on working time/travel during project implementation
