Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Month-End and Year-End Closings:

• Consolidate and review month-end closing for Singapore (SG) and other entities within the Group.
• Prepare month-end closing reports for Corporate with commentaries.
• Coordinate and review all year-end closing and tax packages required from Corporate.

Accounts Receivable:

• Manage overall Accounts Receivable function.
• Ensure timely billing, collection, and review of existing AR processes for efficiency and improvement.

Cashflow Management:

• Prepare monthly cashflow forecasts with commentaries for the Group.
• Support the Controller in managing working capital.

Statutory Audit / Tax Compliance / Corporate Secretarial:

• Work closely with auditors and tax agents to manage statutory audit and tax filings for SG entities.
• Oversee audit and tax filings for all other entities in the Group.
• Lead any ad-hoc tax queries/audits.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance for the SG entity.
• Manage corporate secretarial compliance for the SG entity.

Other Responsibilities:

• Support the team in accounting technical updates and any changes to be implemented.
• Assist the Controller in reviewing internal controls and implementing recommendations for improvements.
• Aid the Controller in Forecast and Budgeting exercises.
• Undertake relevant assignments as needed, such as change management, accounting software implementation, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / CPA or CA-qualified.
• 10-15 years of relevant working experience in Audit and Accounting.
• Prior external audit experience is essential (Big 4 audit firms preferred); internal audit experience is preferable.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Hyperion, TM1, Essbase, etc. is preferred.

Regional Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage the FP&A function and providing advisory to operational matters in relation to financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

- Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

- Review standard operating procedures relating to fixed & current assets, including assessment of asset obsolescence.

- Review monthly reconciliation schedules relating to bank balances, payables, inter-company balances etc.

- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation required for audits.

- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to handle Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and GST filing.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accountancy or other professional qualifications such as ACCA.

• Minimum 6 -10 years of working experience, with proven operational excellence record.

• Fluent in English and Korean language to support regional scope for SEAO Region.

• Working knowledge of SAP is highly advantageous.

• Experience working for MNCs with dynamic ERP system.

• Knowledge of local and international accounting standards, law & regulations, concepts and systems to ensure compliance, internal controls and timely and accurate financial statements.

• Experience in advertising business or service industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month-end closing activities, including accruals and assist in variance analysis of expenses across cost centres.

• Assist to analyse monthly variances between actual and budget

• Review funded claims submission.

• Responsible for reviewing of peer review and budget papers and providing input for the financial analysis section.

• Support data generation from the system and preparation of working files for monthly reporting

• Assist in projections and budgeting activities which includes preparation of templates for submission to cluster.

• Handle the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions covering both international and domestic Chinese trades
• Perform and process all day-to-day trade operations transactions covering both import and export LC transactions, and/or other relevant trade instruments including Bank Acceptance draft, CAD, D/P terms

Functions and Responsibilities

· Comply to ASL HSSEQ policy and procedures.

· Responsible for the preparation of a full set of accounts for her or his portfolio of vessels up to monthly closing for review with the Senior Accountant

· Issues the invoices for each client according to the contractual agreements and upon approval from his/her supervisor submits them to clients, as well as monitor their timely payment, reporting any potential discrepancies from schedule. Monitors the financial position of assigned vessels.

· Executes all the accounting transactions of the assigned vessels, i.e., invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, etc., and updates accordingly all the respective accounting ledgers, to assist in the effective monitoring of each vessel's financial operation and compliance with the accounting rules and legislation.

· Performing bank reconciliation/checking bank recon

· Review and check master’s month-end cash statement.

· Upon approval, proceed to the prompt settlement of all accounts/payments of related vessels, to support the smooth operation of vessels.

· Produces and submits periodical financial reports of the assigned vessels to senior management and reviews the vessel's actual costs against budgets. Informs the Senior Accountant of each assigned vessel, concerning budget variances.

· Assisting Senior accountant for the timely preparation of yearly Company financial reports.

· Proceeds all the accounting entries and develops analytical monthly accounting reports according to the requirements and processes of Arcadia, to provide management with the required information. (DANAOS/SHIPNET)

Requirements:-

o Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA/Diploma

o At least 4 years of accounting experience specializing in vessel handling and analytical reporting from the shipping industry

o Skill(s): Accounts, Tax and GST reporting

o team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work and can deliver within tight deadlines.

o Prior experience in the Shipping / Ship Management industry is a MUST.

o Prior experience with the DANAOS/SHIPNET accounting module preferred
