Job Responsibilities:
You will undertake a supervisory role and be expected to manage a team of assistants. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to,
- I. Overseeing the revenue collection and account receivables function and to work with stakeholders on arrears recovery
- II. Validate the completeness and accuracy of transactions by ensuring that all transactions are authorised, comply with prevailing policies and supporting documents are in order.
- III. Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order.
- IV. Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes.
- V. Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct accounts.
- VI. Conduct training to a team of financial appointment holders on procedures for managing and controlling resources and expenditure so as to carry out procurement, payment and reimbursement activities on the finance systems.
- VII. Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
- VIII. Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements.
- IX. Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.
- X. Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customer-centric service to customers.

Salary:
- Up to $3,300 + Performance Bonus
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accountancy, and/or professional certifications or other equivalent qualifications.
- Candidates with 2 years of experience with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.
- Diploma holder with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience may also apply.
- On the job training will be provided.
- A positive attitude with initiative is essential.
- A team player with leadership attribute and good interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills with good public speaking skills and ability to train and coach.
- Must be able to review and respond to changes and able to adapt to dynamic, quickly changing service environment.
- Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
- Meticulous, with an eye for details.
- Knowledge of SAP and other accounting software is an added advantage.
