General description: The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including conducting investors research, preparing financial information and models, preparing marketing materials, and executing transactions. They will work closely with other team members in Singapore and across the globe on data and financial analyses, due diligence activities, and the creation of transaction materials. Being exposed to every aspect of a deal/transaction cycle, the candidate will be involved in the investor sourcing process, evaluation of such financing opportunities, arranging and structuring of such transactions, and see to the completion and documentation. Detailed description:

- Assist the CM Director to source for credible strategic and sovereign wealth fund investors

- Assist the CM Director to manage investment bankers and financing proposal

- Assist the CM Director to answer questions from investors

- Assist the CM Director to prepare documents for investors Due Diligence

- Deep understanding of financial models

- Assist the CM Director in other matters like marketing, R&D joint labs, sourcing and incubation of early-stage startups, formation of incubation investment funds

- Strong in risk management, IPO regulations and review of legal documents

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the organization's financial health and growth. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership:

• Lead the finance team to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting of financial information.

• Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

3. Capital Management & Fundraising:

• Lead fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, as well as strategic partnerships.

4. Compliance & Governance:

• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and accounting principles.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

5. Team Leadership & Development:**

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to finance team members.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments (Operations, Sales, HR, etc.) to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

6. Strategic Partnerships & Reporting:**

• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and banks, to maintain strong relationships and ensure effective financial communication.
• Lead the preparation of board presentations, financial dashboards, and other reporting materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or similar).
