As a Regional product governance and controls head, this role will be part of the Loan product Team covering Midcaps corporates and SME across all DBS locations. Candidate will work closely with various stakeholders across the region to understand & tailor our offering to differentiate and gain a competitive advantage in the markets we operate. Responsibilities Strategize, design, drive and deliver robust product governance framework across product lines Identify and develop deep knowledge of market changes, emerging trends, competitor landscape and customer's need to continuously refine our digital loan product proposition to gain competitive advantage for each of the markets. Develop keen understanding of the in-country regulatory framework, suitability, credit risk and compliance requirements. Work with key stakeholders, including Credit and Country teams to co-develop overall product governance strategies (such pricing and process governance) Apply data driven operating model. Comfortable with large amounts of data, able to develop insights and drive business value. Work closely with internal and/or external stakeholders across functions and teams to drive regional taskforce and squads Communicate and generate support for recommendations among internal stakeholders and Senior Management across the organization. Lead and shape development in regional Loans early warning workflow to achieve best in class employee and customer experience Requirements The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of relevant working experience in a relevant role Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong understanding of credit principles and SME loan products & solutions Meticulous, positive, optimistic, comfortable with ambiguity, and highly adaptable to change Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability and interest in the new digital economies Strong sense of commitment and accountability, possess a business focus mindset, and is comfortable in challenging the norms, open to new ideas and self-motivated to deliver work of the highest standard Candidate should be passionate about the customer experience and should be able to conceptualize and execute strategic initiatives independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and and stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and work with large cross-functional teams across regions Candidate should possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mind-set and will need to manage both external and internal stakeholders Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
