Mission of the Department: The Finance department is to provide donors, stakeholders, and business partners with sound financial and internal control and governance in alignment with the Singapore Charities Act, Financial Reporting Standards, and company policies. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent should:

• Take ownership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger reporting process, and relentlessly work to ensure smooth and efficient operation;
• Review and approve expense claims and supplier invoices to ensure all supporting documentation are submitted and in line with company finance guidelines;
• Assist in month end activities and preparation of journal entries and management reports of the organisation;
• Monitor and analyse balance sheet accounts to ensure they are reconciled and adjusted on a monthly basis;

Required Qualifications

· ACCA/Singapore Chartered Accountant/Diploma in accounting.

· At least 8 years of financial/accounting experience within an international organization, multinational company or charity with complex donor requirements.

· Good knowledge of IFRS and GST

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

· Experience in SAGE or other accounting systems e.g., SAP, Oracle would be an advantage
