Job Description
To assist the Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) teachers
in their daily teaching and learning as well as to provide logistical support
for the school’s signature Applied Learning Programmes (ALP).
Duties include assisting the NFS and ALP teachers for the following:
(a) Preparation of materials for cookery lessons, practicals, assessments
and applied learning programmes.
(b) Daily maintenance, cleaning and sanitising of the two cookery rooms
with high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and safety and security.
(c) Two cookery rooms must be cleaned and tidied after every session.
Also to ensure the preparation room and 1 container cabin be in a high
state of cleanliness, hygiene and safety and security.
(d) Provide update of perishables and dry goods to teachers ordering for
the classes.
(e) Maintain and update of all inventories of kitchen equipment and
utensils to teachers.
(f) Filing and compilation of all documents in the cookery rooms.
(g) Perform any duties as assigned by the Craft and Tech department or
school.
