The Vice President of Brand & Marketing leads the brand marketing for CNBC internationally, ensuring the brand is positioned for growth with our audience and distribution partners across multiple countries and regions. The role is responsible for coming up with wholistic marketing plans for the quarter and the year, collating and organizing brand marketing assets including on-air promos, signage and digital units, ensuring we are using our house inventory to maximum effect and working with partners on barter opportunities. Co-Development Business Unit is looking for Brand & UX Designer

This is a 6 Months contract role (plus possible extension of up to another 6 months).

What will you do?

• Define the brand concept/design: Understanding the business requirements and design concepts that builds brand identity, bringing brand awareness via the digital website. Propose and design ideas across other identified marketing channels e.g. social media posts, physical swags etc.
• User Interface Design: Developing user interfaces for website, applications, and other digital platforms with a focus on enhancing usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Graphic Design, Colour and Typography: Creating graphics, icons, illustrations, and other visual elements that align with the overall design concept and branding guidelines. Selecting appropriate colour palettes and typography that complement the brand identity and enhance readability and visual hierarchy.
• Layout and Responsive Design: Arranging elements on screens or pages to achieve a balanced and harmonious composition while ensuring a clear and logical flow. Designing interfaces that adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts before final implementation.
• User Experience (UX) Collaboration: Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points to inform the design process.
• Style Guides and Design Systems: Developing and maintaining style guides or design systems that provide guidelines for consistent design elements, interactions, and brand elements.
• Usability Testing: Conducting or participating in usability testing to gather feedback and insights on design effectiveness and make iterative improvements.
• Accessibility: Ensuring designs are accessible to users with disabilities, following accessibility guidelines and best practices
• Iterative Design: Embracing an iterative design approach, refining and evolving designs based on user feedback and testing.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 3 years of experience of working as a Visual/UI/Web Designer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience of working on Brand and Marketing campaigns.
• Degree or Diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in graphic design principles, including layout, composition, colour theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites, applications, and other digital products.
• Advanced knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or other industry-standard tools.

As the Brand & Media Analyst, you are responsible for analysing consumer and media data, market trends, brand performance and competitive landscape to provide actionable insights. Your role involves utilizing various data sources to understand consumer and customer preferences, identify market opportunities, and evaluate the effectiveness of brand and media strategies. You enjoy working on a strategic level as well as hands-on with data and visualization to perform your analyses and reporting. You also possess the skills to turn data into action.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional  team to leverage data to drive strategy. You will support in optimizing media investments to enhance brand perception, customer relationships, and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• You are responsible in conducting in-depth analysis of consumer behavior, utilizing market research data, surveys, and customer feedback and competitive analysis to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and potential threats.
• Evaluate the perception of the brand in the market and among target audiences, identifying strengths and weaknesses of the brand image and recommend strategies to enhance brand equity.
• Drive media analysis consisting of measuring media performance across various channels, evaluating competitors’ media strategies and presence, monitoring and analyzing media metrics, engagement, and sentiment, while assessing the impact of media performance on overall brand perception.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to develop effective marketing strategies and optimized media plans, interpreting and analyzing data from various sources to draw meaningful conclusions and actionable recommendations.
