The Role

Responsibilities

Elevating Brand Awareness:

Brand Campaign Development:

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the core functions of the MSc degree programmes which includes student life, experiential learning, and administration matters.

Corporate Relationship Development

• Establish corporate contacts through a systematic outreach process, follow up on new business projects generation opportunities, maintain working relationships and set up meetings
• Pitch initiatives to corporates, specifically in positioning and securing business projects for our respective MSc programmes
• Scope the business projects with the company, establish an understanding of the objectives, guidelines for workload, deliverables, resources and financial support

Administration of Management Practicum

• Coordinate coaching workshops/classes to prepare students for their undertaking of business projects
• Work with Heads of Departments in appointing project supervisors, including briefing faculty advisors on the role, responsibilities and scope of projects

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Undergraduate Studies Section, Dean's Office, Faculty of Science. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

1) Faculty Co-ordinator for timetabling

• Keep abreast of Science Faculty Curriculum Committee (SFCC)/Board of Undergraduate Studies (BUS)/University Committee on Educational Policy (UCEP)/Senate approved proposals to facilitate planning and scheduling of classes and examinations.
• Coordinate with departments for planning of following academic year's timetable in the Class and Examination Timetabling System (CMIS).
• Update class and examinations timetable changes as and when required.
• Work with departments to verify accuracy of data and resolve any issues for the purpose of Student Feedback Exercise.

2) Pre-examination preparation and during examination support

• Plan and coordinate examination activities for each Academic Year according to the timelines and deadlines stipulated by Registrar's Office.
• Coordinate system updates for examinations related information and ensure data is appropriately entered.
• Act as liaison between Registrar's Office and departments to ensure that all necessary information are disseminated and shared with all parties involved.
• See to the examinations logistical requirements as well as arrangements for students with special needs.

3) Post-examination activities

• Coordinate and work closely with departments to complete the necessary checks and comply with the examinations processing schedule stipulated by Registrar's Office.
• Perform the duties of Faculty's Board of Examiners Secretariat and ensure that decisions made are updated accurately and quickly in Edurec and followed through.
• Plan, conduct and prepare report for examinations audit.

4) Undergraduate Studies Section duties

• To be rostered for section duties such as taking notes of regular section meetings, replying to email enquiries from students, and counter duties.

5) Others

• Provide assistance at University/Faculty level events such as Open House, Freshmen Orientation Briefing, and Commencement.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Vice Dean.

• Managing and oversee daily operations and ensure compliance to operations standards and procedures
• Managing restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures through best monitoring methods via tracking, monitoring and analyzing Sales, Labour & Food cost variances
• Plan weekly schedule planning and daily team floor plan
• Hires, trains and provide on-going communication to staff and deliver first-class service to customers
• Propose staff changes in assigned areas, including hiring, promotion, demotion and vacation leave
• Maintain safety requirements in the restaurant
• Handles customers' feedback promptly
• To comply ad-hoc with all the admin and paperwork requirements
• Assist and support any other relevant business duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Tertiary education certification
• At least 5 years of working experience in restaurant is required for this position
• Preferably in senior roles in F&B/Restaurant service or equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will focus on providing analytical and strategic guidance to Mediacorp brand owners with the primary objective to drive youth audience engagement effectively, with a particular focus on short-form video (TikTok). The role will work with multiple social media brands owners, bridging the gap with platform strategies and expertise, to shape the brands content and audience engagement directions.

Responsibilities

• To set the direction and drive growth of Mediacorp's social medial brands to engage young audiences across digital platforms.
• Maintain, develop and optimise social media platforms audience engagement strategies.
• Conduct analysis using internal and external data (e.g. audience engagement, market and industry), define key performance indicators to derive insights that will drive business decisions.
• Develop deep understanding of TikTok platform, analysing content and industry trends and communicate insights in a comprehensible way to brand owners.
• Conceptualise, build, manage and maintain dashboards that the team can use to extract data and insights for channel management.
• Staying on top of the latest social media trends, identify opportunities to improve and youth audience engagement. Proactively identify and make recommendations on content and social channel engagement.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams, driving results through extracting actionable insights for all content stakeholders and assist in managing the social platform relationships.

• Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or any related discipline.
• At least 8 years of working experience.
• At least 2 to 3 years working experience in social media platform management.
• Experience of best practices for social media platforms.
• Experience analysing and deriving meaning from unstructured datasets.
• Experience in Data Visualisation tools, such as Power BI is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience driving and delivering action based on data-driven insights and recommendations from data analyses.
• Experience in short form content development is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• A strong understanding of what drives digital content on social media and how it should be presented.
• A broad and deep knowledge of digital content and social media trends.
